I caught a potato on fire in my 9 year old Sharp 1.1 cu ft 1100 watt oven and it damaged the oven itself so I was looking for a new microwave oven.

I saw this Kenmore at the Black Friday sale and couldn't believe it was only $59.99. I couldn't wait to get it home and use it.

This says it's a 1.1 cf and 1100 watts as well, but it's much smaller than my old sharp was. I could put three corning ware cereal size bowls in my old one,

I can put two in this one.

I used 12 seconds for a large jar of corn & rice babyfood in my old one, this one took 12 seconds then 5 seconds to get it warm enough. 17 seconds in my old one would've been scalding hot.

we had leftovers that took over 2 min to heat up where my old sharp it would've been almost boiling that long.

for the price it will do for now and maybe I just got a lemon but I'm not impressed with the inside oven space nor the cooking power.

I bought this for my daugher when she got her own place. She loves it. Fits nicely on her countertop and quickly heats and cooks foods. I think its a good value and would definately recommend. I have never had a problem with a Kenmore appliance, very dependable.

this model is the perfect size for a medium size cart,very nice looking front and very easy to read and placement of buttons,great power for the size and price,similar 1.1s have fewer watts for more money very pleased with performance on first use highly recomend...

This is my first Kenmore microwave, had been using GE, but GE microwaves lately coming with more than 1 defects, so thought should try Kenmore.

So far this is working good, have been using it for just more than 2 weeks, no problems yet. Just 1 problem I noticed that it is not standing on all 4 sides, just standing on 3 sides, as long as it is working, I am OK with it.

Beware, the model #52378411 I purchased 11/2010 isn't the same as the earlier one I purchased in 2009. The one we bought in 2009 was worthy of five stars, that is why we purchased a second one for the family room. The new version appears to be an up-sized model #69072 and pales in comparison to the original. The new one doesn't heat food as evenly and the door is very thin and flexible. The new version only deserves two stars.

I purchased this for my 62 year old aunt as a Christmas gift. She had her old one for 20 years so this was a big change for her. She said that she loves it and it works perfect. She found it easy to figure out and is excited about what a 2008 microwave can doI was a bit worried since I ordered it online. With all of that shipping, I figured it was bound to have some crack or something from the travel, but NO - it came packaged perfectly. It has run without a hitch....
