“Works well - but watch out for pins!”

After being skeptical, I was greatly surprised at how much faster and more accurate the sewing of my quilt blocks was with this foot.  I have pieced using a standard presser foot for years, but I like this much better.  The only problem I found was that I can't sew over pins with this foot.  If I am pinning just to keep the fabric together, I don't mind pulling the pins before they go under the foot.  And most of the time, I don't even use pins while sewing quilt blocks.  But if I am pinning to match perfectly seam-to-seam, I often sew right over the pins that match the seams, removing them...

“accurate 1/4 inch every time with no guess work”

Great foot for a super price. Wouldn't do piecework with out it now that I've found it. I am a quilter and am constantly needing to do those 1/4" seams.  This foot takes out the guess work!

“1/4 inch foot”

The 1/4 foot is really a nice addition to the feet you get with the Kenmore. It is a must if you quilt. Very easy snap on.

“A Quilter's MUST HAVE!”

I'm surprised this foot wasn't included in the special "quilter's kit" box, that has several feet (i.e. walking foot, darning foot, "in the ditch foot", etc.) made special for quilter's. (It's included in the VERTICAL (bobbin's) kit, but NOT in the HORIZONTAL (bobbin's) kit. So you MUST order this one extra!!! But it's SO well worth getting it! I can't imagine machine piecing quilt blocks together without it! NO WAY!!! :-) (I like the little "fence" on it, too, to help keep it "in the ditch" or alongside the edge of a quarter inch.) “1/4 foot”

Can't live without this for quilting. No more guessing. Things always have a perfect 1/4 inch. Being new at this quilting think every little thing helps.
