“GREAT AC\QUIET!! BUY IT”
Kenmore 10,000 BTU Single Room Air Conditioner —
I had looked everywhere, online, the newspapers,the chain stores [BB,WM,K,etc] for a GOOD, QUALITY ,QUIET room AC. I have always leaned toward whirlpool. I had an 8000btu whirlpool for the last 3years in my 200sq foot bedroom. i bought it used [3yrs old] and I pulled it out of the window every fall, kept it clean, etc. I put it in this week and it quit [no suprise]. As I was saying, I had looked everywhere for at least a 10000btu to a 12000btu whirlpool. The ones I found were too expensive for me in that price range. I read the ratings and reviews on the Haier [?] units and decided against them. I almost went for the Frigidaire at the "BB" store---BUT, my wife said, "have you tried Sears?" And I hadn't b/c I ASSUMED the prices would be out of our reach. To my AMAZEMENT I found the above A\C, went and looked at it- LOVED it and bought it. BTW- I got mine for $219 [a STEAL] ONLY b/c the box was a little torn. I bought it, loaded her up put it in the windo and WOW!! this is QUIET,COOLS FAST,NO suspicious noises, and the unit slides out of the casing!! This is great!! In my area, the dust and mosquitoes are so bad our a\c's stay clogged and they are hard to clean out [sealed systems] this one I LOVE it b/c it can be taken out , cleaned PROPERLY every year, and it is QUIETER than the fan we were using in our bedroom!! MY advice is try sears!! Look to see if they have any "overstock" or "damaged box" stuff so you can get a little better deal-- you also get the SAME warranty!! isn't that great!! I love it,price,quality,features,easy to install,GREAT unit!! Thanks Sears!!Kenmore 10,000 BTU Single Room Air Conditioner
