I purchased this to replace a working food processor I gave away when I moved. This Kenmore lasted two short sessions before it inexplicably stopped working. It simply hums with no blade movement. I didn't like it anyway--it's pretty much on or off, which no controls, meaning everything is pureed. You cannot really simply chop. The shredder worked nicely--when it worked. Anyway, it's going back to the store.
Great size, good sale price, solid.
Hard to open, only one speed, very hard to clean, strange design.
Great product, love it!!!
Received this food processor for Christmas....right out of the box it had no blades!! Back to the store it went on the 26th and Sears very kindly exchanged it. Took it home and got it out of the box....it worked fine for two uses, today on the third use, when I tried to chop some onions...it just hummmmsssss, and hums and hums, doesn't work at all. I LOVED this processor (when I finally got one that had blades and worked) for the two times I was ABLE to use it, but I am fearful that there may be a problem (read on here that someone else had the same problem right out of the box). Buy at...
read full review »My mom gave me this Kenmore Food Processor on my BD. I've been using it almost every day, it always give me a good result every time I use it and the motor is very powerful too, I just love it, works great.
I like this food processor overall. I don't like that the the feed tube is in two parts that do not seperate for cleaning. I am always afraid it is going to break apart when I am cleaning it. Also it seems to lock up quite a bit when I am processing food. I am not sure if this is normal because the one had prior was over 20 years old. Overall I feel it is a good buy for the price.
The Kenmore 10 cup Food Processor is one appliance that everyone that loves to cook should have and everyone that doesn't like to cook should have and then they would love to cook!!! The first processor that I purchased did not work properly but I took it back to the store and it was replaced without a problem or hassles. After getting the replacement and getting it home to use it - I immediately fell in love with it. This is the appliance that I use most in my kitchen. My family loves coleslaw and this machine is the best to make it. I use it when making salads, chopping nuts, chopping onions,...
read full review »I purchased my first Sears Kenmore food processor with Christmas money I had received. I got it on sale for 69.99. Thought I had found a great deal. I also purchased the extended waranty. The first time I took it out to use, I was heart sick!!. I had gone out and bought everything I needed to make homemade squash pickles. The processor would not spin fast enough to slice butter!!!!. I had to wait until after the weekend to take it back to the store. And of course...no longer on sale!! They would not let me simply exchange it, but the refunded my money and I had to purchase another one. And this...
read full review »My mother bought this for me with plans to use it to make baby food. We bought the purchase protect but within a year it was broken. Mind you I'm using it to puree fruits not anything difficult. The lights on the front blink like there's a short and the motor just hums. I got a second one and it lasted less than a year also. The plastic pieces break easily and the "safety" on the lid is held in place with a tiny piece of plastic that broke, and a spring. So to use it I had to hold the spring down to mimick the safety being engaged. The part that turns the grater, is plastic and also broke. The...

sears wouldn't stand behind the 13 month old product because I hadn't purchased the extended warranty. Next time I will buy the warranty, but it won't be from Sears
