I've had this model for 3 years & have had no problems whatsoever with it. The winters up here are horrid--the furnaces are going well into March (sometimes April), so this little guy works hard keeping our apartment at a livable humidity. It's not pretty--but it does its job. We're very happy with this item and recommend it without reservation.
This is a wonderful product and it works perfectly fine. The lower setting pretty quiet but than it gets a little louder on the high settings. Overall great product.
The Kenmore Humidifier works pretty well. I have had it for a year and have not had a problem with it.
I bought this in store after reading the reviews online. I didn't want to cut holes in my duct work for a humidifier that attached to the furnace. I took advice from a neighbor and bought a unit that was at least 10 gallon so that I am not constantly refilling the unit. We noticed an improvement within the living room within 5 minutes and throughout the whole house within 30 minutes. I plugged it in around 8PM and we slept clearly that night. I have used this humidifier in our home for the past three years. It counteracts the drying of the indoor air by our forced-air furnace, and in part helps with stopping dry mucous membranes, etc. and encouraging resistance to colds.
I chose this model for our 1600 sq. ft. house because I wanted a humidifier I could run full-time, and NOT have to listen to a lot of noise from the unit. I can run this unit on LOW all day and night, and it is very quiet. Much quieter even than the heater is.
Earlier I had a small model, but had to run it on high - and frequently was irritated with the noise.

We burn wood in a free standing fireplace with a blower, so our family room/kitchen gets dry in the winter. I fill the tank 2 times once a day and keep it set at 50%. I feel it works well, although I'm not sure how long the filter will last that always seems to be a issue with humidifiers.
I live in northern Wisconsin and it can get very cold and dry. I've been using this humidifier for about two weeks and I am very impressed. It works great, looks good, and runs very quite on the low speed setting. Would recommend this item to anyone.
This humidifer works great!! different settings according to speed and humidity level. lightweight. though a little bulky, I would definitely recommend this. I ordered this online and it was very quick to be delivered.
