Kenmore 11,500 BTU Slider/Casement Air Conditioner —

The Kenmore 11500 BTU Casmement Window AC unit makes all the difference on these hot muggy Indiana summer days! We live in a 1 bedroom apartment building built in 1929 that has the swing-out casement style windows. Summer days with the sun beating in are murder without some kind of cooling solution. We had to improvise and construct a wooden support structure in order to install this unit. Once that was done and we turned the unit on, the cool air started gushing out. What a relief! Not only does it cool the apartment down to near-chilly levels on 89 degree days, it also reduces humidity down from almost 70% to under 50%. Got a great deal on this AC in the store with an "open box" purchase.
