So Far So Good!

I bought this coffee pot for $29.99. Great Price + I liked that it was red. Best part so far is the wide spout on the pot! Best feature! Comes with a gold filter, so no buying paper filters. Easy to use buttons are right up front. The only negatives is that you have to add water from the far... read full review »

Purchased the unit, loved the way it looks and is easy to set up. Put water in and programmed it for the next morning--5 minutes later several ounces of water had leaked out, wiped it up but continued to leak. Took it back and got another one, this one appeared to be ok until next morning it had leaked...

Well, I've read all of the negative reviews but I can only speak to my personal experience with this coffee maker.  I've had mine for 2 years and used it almost every day, both with the automatic programming and without.  I have yet to have any problems with it.  My burner plate is not chipped at all, there are no leaks and the springs on the top are still working.  I don't take issue with the beeping every 15 minutes because it is a reminder that the maker is still on and hot.  I've also found that it reliably turns itself off after the time is over.  The only issue I've had is trying to...

This 12-cup Kenmore coffee maker has proven itself as a quality product. Not only does this coffee maker look good, and pour great, it also has features that make life wonderful. Setting this coffee maker up is made easy by way of easy access through the top and includes a brass filter basket that will save money on paper filters. The timer feature has got to be one of my favorites! We look forward to waking up to the delight of a fresh pot of coffee virtually every day, with this coffee maker we have that in a well-built, well styled coffee maker! This coffee maker proves that you can count on... read full review »

Ever had one of those days you wakeup looking forward to a great cup of coffee and relaxing on your day off and when you hit the button to start the brew cycle and walk away only to hear strange noises from your coffee pot? Yes, the other day I did just that, I was glad it was my day off so I hopped in my car and went to buy a very large cup, well actually 4 very large cups, two for me and two for my husband.

We waited for Sears to open and find a Coffee Pot that will last, when I saw this Kenmore 12 cup programmable Coffee Maker in RED, my favorite color, I did not look any further, first of all...

This is the one to buy!

This is a great coffee maker! The pot has been designed so that it doesn't spill when the coffee is poured. It brews quickly and makes a great cup of coffee. I purchased all red Kenmore small appliances and they exceeded all my expectations.

I really liked the taste and the looks of the maker. However it only lasted about 9 months before it started spitting steam and taking for ever to brew a pot of coffee.

I chose this coffeemaker because I wanted one in red.  Big mistake to choose on appearance!  This makes the worst coffee I've ever tasted. Here's how it works: it drips lukewarm water through the ground coffee, heats the carafe for five minutes to get the coffee hot, then beeps to let you know it's ready. Yuck. I have to put the first cup in the microwave to make it hot enough to drink, however, because of the lukewarm brewing, the coffee is still very weak (even though I use way more grounds than with my old machine which is a waste of money).

Great coffee maker.

I bought this about a week ago and love it! I was a little hesitant because of some of the reviews, I am a see for myself person. The larger pour spout is really nice. I just use the gold basket and put the coffee in it. Absolutely no problems so far. The cup size measurement seems to allow for larger cups, which I really like. My old one was also a 12 cup, but we didn't get as many cups as we do with this one. I also bought the Kenmore red microwave about a month previously. They look great in my kitchen! I would recommend this coffeemaker.

This coffee maker is much better than others, makes coffee quick and well and the controls make for easy programming.  I would reccommend it to anyone who is looking for a quality product and likes the ease of programming the maker.  Has made my life a little easier and its a Kenmore so I know it will last.

I love my Kenmore Coffee Maker, not only is the red color beautiful, it also makes great tasting coffee.  With the extra filter added for your water, the coffee maker is great for the bucks! This coffee maker is wonderful for a person who is on the go. Every night I am able to program my coffee maker to brew my coffee as I'm getting ready for work, and by the time I head down stairs ready to go, my coffee is waiting for me! Not only is the added filer nice for great tasting coffee, no more buying paper filters, one less item marked off my shopping list!

I would suggest this Kenmore coffee...

I have owned this coffee maker for about one year now.... and last week i walked in to the kitchen and steam was going everywhere. the piece that carried the water had melted and damaged all the other pieces in side the machine, on top of everything the filter has to be changed every 70 cycles which come sooner than you think... Also, the metal screen used in the filter for the coffee is a pain to clean out every day, not all of the grinds comes out in the trash, you will end up clogging your sink as well. This models clock does not hold so do not count on it to. luckily it comes with a 2 year...

Kenmore Red coffee maker

I had this maker for 2 1/2 yrs & I broke it, pushed too far back on the lid.  So went back to Sears to buy another one.  Well the first 3 leaked all over the counter. Finally the 4th worked perfectly.  I noticed that on the other 3 the little nubs that hold the  filter basket in place were missing, my 1st one had these and alas so did the 4th one I purchased, soooo it seems to me that since these were missing "that" seemed to have caused the leaking problem.  Hopefully Kenmore reads these and fixes that problem, I'd think that since I returned 3 other people would have had the same problem. ...
