Wonderful stainless set!

I lost my old beloved stainless set, which was a wedding gift, in a cross-country move and I bought this one to replace it. I have been very happy with the quality and heft of the metal. In addition, I really like the silicone handles. They make it easy to control the cookware on the stovetop, and I...

Discouraged and mad

We found the kettles we wanted and they were out of stock.  They would not let me purchase the display model.  Customer service called all over and could not find any and then sears warehouse was contacted and they had 2 sets.  We paid for them April 2 so we could get the sale price.  We were promised...

Stainless steel is not typically nonstick, you need to keep a nonstick pan for eggs and anything that has to be "fried". You have to change your cooking style to fully appreciate stainless steel cookware. Food tastes so much better if cooked properly in stainless, and definitely more healthy, as oil is not necessary to give food is flavor. Much more versatility than nonstick, not to mention the creativity of trying new healthier recipes.

I have shopped at several stores comparing to some of the even ones on sale and it came down to this 14 pc set for $136.99.  It was the weekend sale then it goes up to $159.99 for another sale.  Most sales were for 10, 12 or 13 piece set not offering the different sizes I got.  It's a good weight, the handles are rubber not stainless steel so it's nice not to have to use potholders, except the stock pots.  Most people that know how to cook on stainless steel will not find it hard unless you compare it to teflon.  I have parrots and so I had to change everything to stainless steel. I...

These pans look really nice, and I too was tired of cheap nonstick pans that would peel away into my meals, so I overlooked all the other reviews( about everything sticking). Well everything does stick, especially eggs, pancakes, tortillas, etc.( I had to let soak for a long time and still had to scrub like my life depended on it!). I liked these pans because I did not want to buy the inserts that come with 2 of the pans, I thought it really was a bargain, and I guess it is. The only thing that I would recommend is that you buy a nonstick pan for eggs and such, believe me you will be so grateful!!...

I bought this very versitile and complete (for our needs) "stainless steal cookware set for a gift.I don't know how it got started , but other owners of this SS cookware told my wife to check the set with a magnet, because it may not be what is claimed.   A magnet will stick to steal, but not to aluminum or other non ferrous material.

She checked all the pans and strainers and the magnet stuck.  When she checked the lids magnet would not stick, except the handles.  What material are the lids made from?

I purchased this set about a month ago and I love it!  If you cook on low to med the food does not stick and it cleans up well.  Once in awhile food will leave a whiteish residue on the cookware; a small amount of white vinegar and a soft brush cleans it very well.  It is very important to follow the cooking guidelines that come with the cookware and to clean well in soap and vinegar before using.  I would recommend this set to everyone.

After much research, I purchased this cookware set over two years ago.  It has been used to cook for my family, of ususally at least five people, on a daily basis.  It has performed as I expected of this type cookware.  If I want to cook eggs I use a nonstick pan. This set is as good, and in some ways better, than any of the higher priced name brand cookware I looked at in my search. The silicone handles really are a bonus. The lids fit great and the pans heat evenly. It's great to feel like you've found the best possible cookware to get the job done.

I bought these pans for our daughter and son-in-law. The pans are well made and heavy for a nice heating. The handles are very comfort grip. The pasta pot was a bonus for her.  The stock pot is a nice size for a growing family. I would  highly recommend this set to anyone.

The even heat these pots and pans give you is phenominal. No more hot spots and burnt food. Easy to keep clean and the little lip on the edge makes pouring sauces easy, not messy. The pans I use most are the large deep frypan (every day!) and the steamer a couple times a week. I got this set because I do not want to use non-stick anymore due to possible health risks with the coating. You can't go wrong with stainless!

You only get to purchase a good set of pot and pans once. This product will be and excellence choice especially if you are a person that cooks all the time. One question comes to mind when reviewing this item. Is it worth the money that will be spend on it. The look is of very find taste and has an  look of elegance. Whom ever purchase this item will indeed spend good money..Things to think about how much long is the warranty's on this Kenmore Stainless Steele cookware set, will it allow food to be cook evenly . One thing that i was most disappointed about is you know how kids don't dry dishes...

Beautiful, Terrific Value!

I bought these for my daughter. Her old non-stick pans were beat to death. My oldest daughter gave me an expensive set of Calphalon stainless steel and I love them! (I had admired hers for a few years.) This Kenmore set is as good as my more expensive set for half the price! And the Kenmore pans have more comfortable silicone handles to hold onto. The lids are not glass/see-through, but they clean up beautifully and were a great value. I plan to buy a second set for my other house. I heartily endorse these pans. Clean up is easy with some Bar Keeper's Friend.

I purchased the 14 piece Kenmore Stainless Steel Cookware Set about 2 months ago and have used all the pans. I love to cook so having good tools is very important to me. These work great and are easy to clean. They still look shiny and new. I shopped around before I made my purchase and I am very pleased thay I decided to go with the Kenmore pans.

Best cookware I ever owned

After researching many brands I finally settled on this set. I have found it to be the best cookware I have ever owned. Cooks evenly, very easy cleanup - acts just like non stick. As with all stainless sometimes does not dry evenly. Whenever this happens just squirt a little lemon juice and rinse...looks brand new again. Forget all the fancy celebrity names, this set outshines all of them...would recommend to anyone.!!!
