Kenmore 20.6 cu. ft. Upright Freezer (2804) —
Great freezer! Plenty of glass (heavy duty) shelve space; lots of capacity in the door! Manage your own door space with heavy duty plastic removable storage units. Use them as needed. I looked at many freezers before buying this unit, then I decided to toss my old freezer and get another one like this one!
I had a very old manual defrost freezer. An albatross! These new freezers are great, so far.
They cooled down within 6 to 8 hours with our assistance of adding gallon milk cartons full of ice; we didn't lose any food going from 30 gallon ice chests to freezer.
The plastic pull-out shelf under the top interior shelf should be stiffer; the engineers need to reinforce the bottom of the pull out shelf with a couple of plastic brackets. Use it for the light-weight stuff! Or, put a metal pan in the bottom to reinforce it.
Obviously, since I bought 2 of these freezers this summer, I am very happy.
