Kenmore 20.6 cu. ft. Upright Freezer (2804) —
I have owned this freezer for 3 weeks and all I can say is I am impressed with its quality, size and price.
I realize it is a pain in the neck to defrost a "manual defrost" freezer. I am of the opinion, however, that a manual defrost unit keeps frozen food better for a longer period of time. This unit is spacious, well made, and has a great price. The interior light is a god send, the door storage is excellent, the bottom basket pulls out easily, and every type package can be accomodated.
So far, the unit has been flawless !!! It is exceptionally quiet and if it is like other Kenmore appliances that I have owned over the years it should last trouble free for many years to come.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about this freezer !! If you are thinking of buying a large manual defrost upright this is the freezer for you.........and amazingly, for its size, it is not a power guzzler!!!
