The Ice Cream compartment makes it so easy...no waiting for it to thaw out a bit before you can enjoy it. All this room...just gotta order that side of beef next!

among the attributes I could choose from on the right of this box is one that says:

Roomy and quite!

I suspect they mean "quiet". Very true. I'm glad they put a light on the outside so I know it's running, because otherwise I'd never know.

I also checked:

Outstand quality and value.

I suspect they mean "Outstanding". Also true.

As you can see, I find even small problems with things. So far I haven't found **any** problems with this freezer...except that I need two more of the small shelves on the door. All my little stuff that usually gets lost is going on the door, and I have space going to waste there because I don't have shelves to put in the space.

I don't like having a one-size-fits-all user's manual for this freezer. Sears manuals usually cover only one or two models and that allows them to have actual parts lists and to include only the features that the device actually has.

I've had this manual defrost freezer for almost four weeks, and I don't see any ice inside,...

I love my Freezer. it is Quite and well laid out! The Sears Delivery was on time and they were in and out of my hous with the old freezer in under 15 minutes. great service!

Shelving makes it easy to locate everything. Has a great seal making the freezer close well and harder to open. Great price!

Our old freezer went out on us in October of 2011 and it was 15 years old so we replaced it with another KENMORE appliance and we are very happy with it.The freezer is verry roomey,quite and has a light inside and pull out drawers and bins galore.I have nothing negative to say about it just hope it lasts fifteen years too!...

I love this freezer, we emptied 2 deep freezes in to this one upright. I was a great price and absolutely perfect. Well beyond the value for what we paid. Can say i was impressed with the customer service at our local store but the product is out standing. There is a light and the shelves in the door are ajustable. Dont like that the shelves in it are not ajustable just the ones in the door but i still love the freezer....

We have had this Kenmore upright freezer for about a month, we replaced a chest model,it is quite a lot bigger. We are now able to finds things. I runs great, quiet. We are realy happy with it.

I like the construction of the freezer, with the cooling coils running through the actual shelving. I chose a non-frost free unit because I feel this type is easier on the quality of foods stored for longer periods of time. I appreciate the power-on indicator light at the base. Lots of room for food storage. A "tip-up" ledge on the front of each shelf to secure the stacked items would be a great addition.

The freezer has excellent capacity, and fits this large capacity in a small space in my home. It has adjustable door shelves, many, which I find it very useful. There are no excess frills that you don't need, and enough of what you do need.

The price was a lot less than I'd expected for such a useful product. After shopping around, I decided to go with this choice. Sears has a good concept of what we need in this market, and I am pleased. I'd buy it again.

We have had no problems with the freezer. When pulling it from the box we did have to lay it on its back to get it loose from the shipping container. I also could not level the rear section, due to the fact there was no rear levelers. The freezer runs great. It it very quit and keeps everything inside very cold. I like the light on the bottom of the freezer to let me know it is on. It has a section to keep ice-cream in to keep it from freezing to cold. The selves are adjustable on the doors, which makes it nice for changing depending on what you are storing there.

We love our new freezer it was at a super price for the size and quality. Had a little trouble with the online ordering, order was placed they gave me a day it was to be delivered and a confirmation number...then the order was cancelled without informing me, but a Sears associate in store worked with us giving us the sale price it was listed as online, whereas the online rep had terrible customer relations with us and would not give us the sale price. The Kenmore freezer is super.... plenty of space, and very quiet!!!! It has heavy duty metal shelving, and a great shelf for ice cream. This freezer will now allow us to save a lot of money on sale meats, and stock it full of venison!!!!

I ordered this freezer over the Internet, and when it arrived, it was dented at the top. Sears was very good about scheduling an exchange. However, since it was going to be exchanged, I decided to go with a the 16 cu. ft. freezer because the 20 cu ft. one is really, really large. We are a family of five, with three growing boys and I think the 16 cu. ft. is just fine.

Freezer was deliveried at the time stated, however the freezer had a dent on the right back edge and 2 scratches on the left back side. The guys that deliveried the freezer had dirty hands and put black greasy marks on the sides and around the door seal of the freezer.

Disappointed that I am replacing the electronic cold control panel 3rd time since our purchase in Dec'06 - move in Jan'07. I put a surge protector in place after the Apr'09 (2nd repair) at repairman's suggestion. Surprised that this part is problematic. Will try to repair it one more time before I move to another brand.
