When the grill is warm, and you use the microwave, the whole system shorts out.
The grill drawer is difficult to open and close. You have to pull and push really hard. The microwave door is also hard to open.

We've had it a few weeks now. No burning plastic smell, the protective plastic was not the easiest to remove, and it can be tedious to get it all off, but wasn't overly difficult, it would be nice if there were pulls at the corners/etc to help get you started. It didn't all come off in one peice.
Microwave seems to work great, easy to use. My wife has used the pizza pan without issue. All in all, I'm happy with it.
Awesome! Pizza oven and microwave is tops! No need to preheat the Viking and uses much less energy. My dad bought one after seeing ours. Keep making them and when this one dies I'll buy another. Bought in Jan. '09.
Oven works extremely well. Heating time has shorten when heating leftovers. Pizza oven has been a lifesaver when cooking for a indecisive 5 yr old. Heating in the pizza oven eliminates heating up the whole house too. This was definitely a smart buy.
I love the combo feature of this product!
We use the pizza oven for many things other than pizza-fries, chicken nuggets, garlic breads. The best part of this is my son can use this easily and I don't have to worry if he turned the oven off when I am not home.
This doesn't heat up the kitchen and takes up no more space than a regular microwave! I don't know how I went so long without something like this!
I recently purchased this appliance and I must say it is the best microwave I have ever owned. In just a couple of weeks I have cooked pizza, cookies, muffins, and biscuits. All I can say is "WOW!". This appliance is a must-have for those who are not so kitchen smart when it comes to preparing meals or desserts. I love the design and how easy it is to use. I have owned atleast 2 or 3 other microwaves, but this one takes the award for the best one.

read full review »This unit let me get rid of my old toaster oven that takes up way too much space. It doesn't do everything the toaster oven can do such as broiling, but that's not much of a tradeoff for the extra space.
The pizza pan is big enough for a 12" diamater pizza and it looks like maybe 2" of thickness at the most. I plan to use it more for heating up bagels and sandwhiches where microwaving would make them soggy and chewy. The underside of the baking area might be a little difficult to clean if something splatters. The pan itself lifts out so is easy to clean.

read full review »I love the drawer oven...so handy for nuggets, breads, waffles, pizzas...you name it. Faster than an oven with no preheating. Bad things...can't run the microwave at the same time as the oven and the oven part takes forever to cool off running a fan for a long time. We have had it in once for repair because a thermostat went bad. Love it and use it a ton everyday...
I love the concept of microwave and pizza cooker. The pizza I made came out exactly as I expected, warm and crispy on the outside edges. It is so easy to use and does not heat up the whole kitchen. I would recommend this microwave to singles and even for families. It does not take up a lot of room and is very easy to use.
I purchased this combination microwave and convection oven and LOVE It! As for the person that mentioned that it burnt popcorn for them on high heat 1) it has a popcorn setting and 2) it mentions in the instruction book NOT cooking popcorn on the high setting, to use power 80. So far this appliance has been wonderful!
We've purchased ours with our kitchen renovation. I originally wanted one of those drawer type but after researching it, realized it wasn't the way to go. read full review »We were looking to replace our old, broken microwave. We needed a counter-top type, but it sets in a cabinet hole built for a microwave. After taking measurements, we went to Sears, where we found a great assortment to choose from. After measuring their countertop models, we settled on this one. We liked the idea of a pizza oven, since I make homemade pizza often.
Within a couple of days I was making my first pizza to test the little oven. It works great and cooks fast! This oven will cook biscuits, cookies and just about anything that is short in height. I've also used it to warm up leftovers....
