I cannot contain my enthusiastic comments about this gorgeous refrigerator! Aside from being Energy Star Compliant, it is whisper quiet. The filtered water and ice are cold, refreshing, and absolutely taste-free. (I'm saving even more money now without buying plastic-flavored bottled water.) The additional refrigerator lighting cheerfully brightens its contents. There 's sufficient freezer storage space. The temperature controls are easily accessible. The glass shelving slides in and out. The refrigerator and freezer door storage deceptively hold much more than expected. This is definitely refrigeration perfection! I bought it over a month ago and still catch myself just sitting there staring and admiring how beautiful it looks in my kitchen. It replaced my 1970's energy-unfriendly fridge. It's amazing how just this one appliance totally updates the look of my entire kitchen. Unfortunately, we had to return ANOTHER Kenmore MODEL (NOT this model) refrigerator before buying this one. That other Kenmore was the noisiest refrigerator I have ever heard. So be careful! If this fridge fits your kitchen dimensions and budget, I would buy it in a heartbeat! I wish you the best in your appliance search.
