Overall, I am pleased with this refrigerator. The only issue I have is the water filter does not last long, especially on well water. We have a water filtration system on the primary water lines and the filter still only lasted about about 4 1/2 months (supposed to last at least 6 months).
We chose this frig because the new 25 cu.ft. ones are too tall the clear the overhead wine rack. While I'm sure we'll miss the extra freezer space, we are very happy with this frig. The stainless/black exterior matches our other appliances nicely. This frig is QUIET!!! Our old ice maker crapped out years ago and I am more than pleased to ditch the old ice cube trays. Filtered water tastes great and I use it to make morning coffee. Installation was professional . . . great guys. Kudos to Gary at the Canton, Oh store for his expertise in helping us with our selection.
I cannot contain my enthusiastic comments about this gorgeous refrigerator! Aside from being Energy Star Compliant, it is whisper quiet. The filtered water and ice are cold, refreshing, and absolutely taste-free. (I'm saving even more money now without buying plastic-flavored bottled water.) The additional refrigerator lighting cheerfully brightens its contents. There 's sufficient freezer storage space. The temperature controls are easily accessible. The glass shelving slides in and out. The refrigerator and freezer door storage deceptively hold much more than expected. This is definitely refrigeration...

We purchased this frige about a month ago. We purchased the stainless steel model and it looks beautiful. Our old frige didn't have the ice and water dispenser and we love this feature. We had a problem with a buzzing noise after the frige was installed (by us not Sears). The owners manuel and the installation guide were not very helpful with this. It was only when I called Sears to have someone come out a look at it that I was advised on the phone to be sure the frige was leveled and somewhat tilted toward the back. Once that was done the buzzing stopped. Our old frige was 20 years old and there...

stainless steel...excellent appearance...large interior volume...although, do not like that water dispensor does not illuminate... unless turn on switch....and the whole ice cubes fall out after remove glass from it...onto floor... almost every time used...other than that excellent..except its not self cleaning-LOL
After a horrible experience with a GE bottom freezer refridgerator I chose this one nd couldn't be happier. It is actually a Whirlpool but over $200 less. I like the plastic handles vs stainless. Much easier to keep clean. I didn't think I would like that but found I love it. I set the temp controls in the middle and had to set down even more. This model can get very cold if you desire. Lots of room and stylish. I would definetely recommend. I bought this and 2 weeks later Sears had another Sale and they credited me over $142 with a simple inquiry.
