Kenmore 24,500 BTU Large Capacity Room Air Conditioner —
I live in a 1972 single wide mobile home. Its fairly large for a single about 1000 Sq. Ft. Dont be scared off by the 220 outlet. I paid $180 dollars for an electrician to install a outled for me to run this AC unit. This is by far one of the best investments I have made. This A.C. works amazing. Imagine a large swamp cooler on high blowing air. this thing blows about the same amount of air but ice cold! It cools my house down quick then I turn it off for an hour or 2 until I need it back on. My electric bill went up about 35 dollars. I would recomend removing a window and permanently installing this unit in the wall like I did. My summers are nice and cool, even to cold sometimes. I live in the CA valley(fresno) so it gets up to 112* and my cooler cools my house to a refreshing relaxing 69* degrease. A defenite must for any mobile home. Due to that lack of insulation, poor windows, and just pverall quality in the insulation of any mobile home you need a 24,000 BTU cooler. Unless of course you want to just cool a room only then a 5000 BTU will do the job. Much cheaper than central air conditioning. Buy and install this 25000 BTU permanently in your wall. It does the job and more.
