I've owned this dishwasher for a couple of weeks. Could not be more pleased. I had a cheap, 'builder' quality installed. It sounded like a freight train and was already showing signs of degrading.
My new dishwasher is quiet! Easy to use. Lovely to look at. Could not be happier!
Our installer suggested Glass Magic once a week, my cloudy glass plates are sparkling.
Big interior, very quiet, no spotty glasses! Don't like having to remember to push the start button again after opening the dishwasher once the delayed start feature has been set.
Forget rinsing those dishes! This one does it all.

Quiet, looks sharp, and does a great job cleaning. I only run mine every 3 days or so and I've yet to find a dirty dish after the wash cycle.

I was so pleased with the performance of my previous Kenmore Dishwashers that I chose the Kenmore dishwasher with SmartWash cycle. We are rennovating a home and I wanted to outfit it with sustainable appliances. The features I liked best include the clean front with the buttons in the top, out of sight and out of reach of young hands. Also, the interior of the dishwasher utilizes three spray arms. The Kenmore Elite dishwasher is the second dishwasher that I have owned. Overrall its a great buy. I have ran this dishwasher almost everyday for the past 3 months and have had no problems. I really like the amount of space between the bottom and top racks. I am able to put a large cookie sheet in the bottom without anything rubbing on it while it washes, I wasnt able to do that in my prior dishwasher. I also like that the buttons are hidden. I have a very curious 2 year old who pushed was constantly pushing the buttons on my old one but has yet to figure out how to work this one yet!

I have had this dishwasher for about 8 months now. It cleans dishes well and has ample space for dishes. It is very very quiet, sometimes I can't even tell its on. The drying feature works well as well. When used with JetDry glasses come out spotless. I would recommend this dishwasher. Good price. Controls are easy to use and hidden when dishwasher is closed. Stainless steel is easy to clean and looks good in the kitchen. The only downside is the top rack does not adjust up and down, but it is low enough for most tall glasses and cups.
The machine is beautiful, quiet, and works well. I like the range of options.
However, imagine my surprise when I realized I would have to buy a different part for it (new style fittings), which were not included in the package. Sears stores did not have them; I found them at **********, where I was told all washers beginning in January of 2010 would use these fittings. I feel Sears should have at least advertised this, that the washer would need an additional part.
Recently purchased and had a few weeks. Very happy with how easy it is to learn, how effective it is at cleaning the dishes, and how quiet it is compared to our old one. Looks fantastic as well. So far, so good. Had to pay an extra $70 or so when installer arrived for power adaptor. Wish we had been told or alerted when going through check-out. Will report again re: function after a few months.
