Much needed relief

Having looked over most, if not all, available dishwashers in the price range of $350-$500. It wasn't to any shock that I chose the right one for the application. Any smaller and it would not have been enough. Any bigger and I couldn't stand the necessary trials I would have to go through in order to... read full review »

disappointed

My husband and I have had a few portable dishwashers. We bought this one that I thought would be an upgrade from our old one. When we got it and the installation was really easy I was excited. Then I began to load it, there is not enough room to place normal sized dinner plates. The top spinner hangs... read full review »

I bought this dishwasher 3 weeks ago for my home and I absolutely love it. Below is an honest review: 1) It rolls across my tile floor with ease. 2) The hookup to my kitchen sink is simple. The first run leaked where the hose connected to the facucet over the sink but I put a small amount of vaseline around the washer in the hose and now it doesn't. 3) "Normal Wash" with heated and heated dry has cleaned my dishes well. Example: I put in a heavily soiled drip pan from the bottom of my oven and it came out like new. I have yet to use the "pots/pans" cycle but I always put pots/pans in. Maybe because... read full review »

works for me!

I bought this online on 12/16/08; it was delivered two days later. Unpacked and set it up myself, and gave it a test of two days worth of dishes. Not a problem. Worked just fine. No unusual noise problem, and certainly no problem loading 10" dinner plates. Plates and saucers on the bottom tray, pots and bowls around the bottom tray sides, and glasses/cups on the tp tray. I don't use heated dry or "High Heat" modes, and find the dishes washed very well with a half-fill of detergent in each box. Only "new" thing for me is getting cups and glasses to rest in the upper tray at an angle (to allow... read full review »

What happened to the old Ultra Wash System???

I purchased this dishwasher last month to replace my older model. I decided to purchase the ULTRA WASH because I had been extremely happy with my old dishwasher which was also a Kenmore with the Ultra Wash System. My old one still cleaned well, but it had something wrong with the rinsing/draining/filtering system that would cost about 2/3 as much to repair as the cost of a new dishwasher. This newer model is much inferior to the older one. The usable loading area is smaller and not adaptable for various sized items, the buttons are difficult to push, the door is hard to close and the cleaning... read full review »

Works Great for Me

I purchased this dishwaser the day after Christmas and honestly have nothing but good things to say about it. I truly just stick in my dishes with barely a rinse off and it gets them sparkling clean. My last two dishwashers were both top of the line GE's and they were not portable and this dishwasher cleans better than both of them by far!! If I had any compliants it would be that the top shelf is a little shorter than my other dishwashers, but considering it is a portable that didn't surprise me, and honestly hasn't been that big of a deal.

It does the job and it's Energy Star

My husband and I bought this dishwasher a year ago because it was the only Energy Star portable dishwasher we could find. It's not the most flexible dishwasher when it comes to loading, but it was good enough for us. It's easy to move and stays in position (without a locking mechanism). The cycle time seems pretty short compared to other dishwashers I've used in the past and I like that. It is a little loud but it has a delay feature so we usually set it up to run after we go to bed. Overall, we were happy with this dishwasher.

Great Dishwasher

I purchased this dishwasher about three years ago and it is still working like new. It is quiter than you would expect, and washes dishes beautifully. You don't have to prewash, and has excellent features for the money. The high temp feature is a plus because it sanitizes and leaves everything super clean.

water wouldn't drain

I ordered this last november on black friday. water wouldn't drain. after every cycle there was like 3 inches of water in the bottom. I'd like to believe that I just "got a bad one" because I see so many other good reviews, but, who knows. The build quality seemed pretty good and sturdy, but, it didn't work for me. I returned it.

GREAT dishwasher!

My kitchen is not set up for a built-in dishwasher, but I actually prefer the portable because I can recycle the water used, if I want. My first dishwasher was a GE, and this one is so much better, there's no comparison. The lack of a center tower gives much more room to load dishes, and the varying levels of the upper and lower racks allow me to wash many more dishes than I could before. I never have to prewash dishes, the Water Miser cycle gets my dishes really clean, which saves on electricity. I never have any spots on dishes. I've had this d/w for five years, and I still love it today as... read full review »

Did not last long!

We purchased this model 3 years ago (Same model #, earlier version). Overall it worked ok except that it tended to blow food debris up into the coffee cups and it stuck there. Didn't seem to do glasses that way. It finally started leaking at the connector to the faucet and we dealt with it for awhile by wrapping a dishtowel around the fauct and connector. It started blowing off when we turned the water on at the faucet and we finally called sears repair to come out and fix it. He came today and said he was sorry but the repair bill would come to 255 dollars. We paid 400 for it so obvioulsy we haven't... read full review »

Good Purchase

I received this dishwasher as a gift for Christmas and it is very nice. I never had a dishwasher before so for me I did not know what I was missing. Washes good, not loud, easy to hook up and roll away. I only wish it was a little smaller, but I guess if it was it would not have the features it has. Would recommend.

Don't get this dishwasher

There are numerous features about this dishwasher that MIGHT make it an attractive purchase but they all become secondary to the horible inner configuration of this model. There is very little room for larger plates between the lower rack and the spinning jet mechanism that is attached to the bottom of the upper rack. Additionally, this dishwasher does not have a single angled prong on the upper or lower racks, making it VERY difficult to arrange things in an efficient manner. The cleaning ability of this unit is acceptable but, to be honest, it just isn't worth the hassle of dealing with the pitiful... read full review »

We love it!

We purchased this dishwasher after reading the reviews of several models. It works great! The dishes always come out clean, with no water spots. We don't have room for a built-in dishwasher so the portable is perfect and rolls easily over to the sink. We would recommend this to everyone.
