When we first got it, the fan was too noisy. It was about as loud as the microwave or exhaust fan above the stove. The installation tech said "that's not right, it's defective, call Sears and get another one". We did what he said and the new one is perfect. There is a bit of fan noise but it's not loud at all. Before I could hear the fan from just about anywhere in the house, now I have to stand right in front of the oven to hear it. The first one smelled bad too. I am not much of a cook so my oven has not been used much. After 18 months of minimal usage I started receiving an F95 error code and the oven would stop working. I am told the repair costs will be approximately $530 for essentially a new oven. Of course I passed on the extended warranty as they are prohibitively expensive. All the reviews from **************** etc rave about this oven so I deemed myself safe (not).
Of course Sears can not/will not do anything for me. In renovating my kitchen I bought the entire Elite line of appliances along with a stand alone...
