“Cools down my shop in the summer”

“Missing instructions and who knows what else”

Bought and picked up my unit. Got it home and could not find installation instructions. The store associate said order the documents or return the air conditioner. “Disappointed”

I bought this unit app. 1 year ago today, to replace a much older, broken, Kenmore unit, and it has quit cooling entirely. The compressor will not activate. Sears has said the nearest repair appointment is 3 weeks out. This is entirely unacceptable in 98 degree weather. Superior customer service is their only justification for existance, and they have failed. The older 25K BTU unit was a much better unit. This unit cools OK when working, but not what I expect for it's size and the money it costs. I would stay away from this unit.

“Know the facts”

I purchased this unit to only have it break in less than 1 year. The fans inside the unit were plastic and broke. WHEN the unit runs properly, it looks and works great. The full parts and labor warranty (excluding sealed system) is too short for a unit that costs this much, plus the plastic fans... :-(

“White Kenmore 28,000 BTU Large Capacity Room Air C”

I bought this unit May 2006. I am glad to report that It cooled both the upstairs and downstairs of my home. I have an older home with little or no insulation and I am pleased with this unit. It has stood throught the winter and wind in my window no problem. I would recommend this product to anyone who needs cooled off in a hard to cool home.

“Sears should have just replaced this unit”

I have had nothing but trouble from this unit since I bought it. It broke down within the first month of use and it took Sears a month to fix it only to have it break down again within a week of it supposedly being fixed. Had to wait another month to get it fixed again and since they did not replace or cleanout the rear condenser coils it will never be able to run efficiently. Extermely disappointed with this unit and the service I got. They did pay for a rental unit and the cost for it was more than the unit itself? “28,000 BTU AC Unit”

Picked one of these up due to my 24,000 BTU dying a horrible death. Am very pleased with the performance of the unit. Only complaint is the 1 year warranty. Should be at least 3 year due to the price.

im glad i turned the corner and saw this air cond, it was slightly damaged, but the price couldnt be passed up. it is the best !!! we have already recommended the product to friends.
