I have used this washer for the last month. I agree with previous reviewer totally. I ordered this on-line and received it the very next day. That feature alone is quite impressive. It is quiet and I especially love the fact that when cycle is complete, clothes are so dry, they do take a lot less drying time. It has a very large capacity for washing, but since it's new I am trying not to overload right now. Although I remember putting 7 towels in it yesterday and they washed just perfectly and there was room for a couple more. The machine doesn't have a problem with going out of balance at all.... review »

This washer is a joy to use. It is not only very quiet, but it has so much versatility in the water temperatures and cycles. I have yet to have a need for any type of wash that this machine does not specifically cover. And it does an excellent job on stubborn stains. And the spin cycle gets the clothes so dry, there is less time needed to use the dryer. Growing up, my Grandmother would not buy anything but Kenmore and now I see why. Thank you for a great product.

In the first load I did I noticed how quiet, and quick the washer was. I used the same detergent and fabric softener I had used with my previous washer ..what a difference the clothes came out clean and smelled great. I used to have a KitchenAid washer and still have the drier, unfortunately. I think with the kitchenaid washer repairs I paid for a compact car. For sure when the drier breaks I am getting a Kenmore drier. We are a family of seven and the loads are big... it handles a large load beautifully. Highly recommend it!!!

in 1998 we bought this washer. the only problem i have had with it was when we overloaded it. and over the past 9 years or so 2 time we fixed it our selfs,its good washes great had a friend come over to wash and she said "wow you can fit a lot of clothes in this" i guess i don't pay attention to that too much but she did we don't have the matching dryer i was sad about that but when my old dryer died the kenmors were not on sale so we got a frigidair i hate that dryer! oh well im glad to have a washer and a dryer!

I researched washers thoroughly before deciding on this one, and I am extremely happy with my choice. There is more than enough room for the big loads, plenty of useful setting options, and it washes our clothes better than our last washer. It is also much more quiet, not noticeable even in the middle of the night when the kids are asleep. Compared to other washers available, this is one of the best (if not the best, as I think) values you can find. I would recommend this washer to my mother, my best friend, and to you.

I have had this washer for 4 years now and have never had a problem with it. I am partial to Kenmore and every one of my appliances is a Kenmore. This washer gets my clothes super clean. The spin cycle gets the clothes nearly dry so much less time is spent drying them. This machine replaced a Kenmore that I bought in 1988 and although I thought I would never find one as good, I certainly found one that is better. This washer is so quiet that sometimes I have to walk over to make sure it is working. I would recommend this washer to anyone. If you are thinking of buying it, do not hesitate for one... review »

I purchased my first washer & dryer in 1979 from a local Sears store. Both my washer and dryer have been great...I still have them today and they still wash and dry our clothes. To date, we have never had to have either of them serviced and they have been moved five times over the years and they still look and work like new. I would recommend Kenmore to anyone. I also owe two Kenmore refrigerators and a dishwasher...I love them!!!

I purchased this washer in early April, so have used it only for one month but I love it. I followed the previous ratings and that helped me choose this machine. I was ready to choose another until I read the ratings. The tub has more than enough room for large loads. It washes and spins w/o any problems. It has plenty of choices, but I generally just wash on normal cycle, cold water. I join with the previous raters in recommending this washer. Thank you Kenmore!
