I love this washer! I had a 4.0 but had trouble with it within the first two months. This washer is more "traditional" and trustworthy. It has a few less features but doesn't lack in convenience or ability. And though I had once thought a 3.2 cu ft. washer was the only size to handle the loads I wanted to wash, I have found that this one is big enough.
I know the temptation is to get the cheapest deal in town.
Ive seen most the other washers around this price point..
and simply this model beats them all out! Its a durable washer!
This 400 series has porcelain over steel drum.
This material is so strong its similar to the surface of a space shuttle..
This drum would natuaraly prevent odors compared to a plastic drum
which can scratch and your clothes wont smell as clean..
Italion chefs use stainless steel sink to clean hand smells while using garlic..
Same effect on your clothes..
This washer is a great machine. I have had it for 15 years and it washes very well and holds large loads. I like it because it is simple to operate. I recommend this washer. Marilyn A., Tennessee
This is my second Kenmore washer in 30 years. I had had minimal repairs for the first one so there was no question about buying the same brand again. Kenmore is the best.
This kenmore washer is a must if you have an active family. It handles even the largest loads easily and gets the clothes clean.
Do not bother looking at other appliance brands. Sears. Kenmore. Period.
all our major appliances are kenmore(washer,dryer,stove,ref. even a/c)because they meet or exceed our expectations every time.
This is a machine you will not have to worry about. Put the Sears extra warranty on it, you wont be sorry. I have been renewing mine for years and finally had to use it in the 8th year. Sears came out the next day and fixed the problem, free of charge. Go Kenmore!
My old Kenmore's were over 23 years old and still worked when I gave them to a neighbor who needed a set. I then treated myself to something new to go with my new laungry room and I love them, my clothes come out so clean and they are virtually wrinkle free.
I purchase this washer along with the dryer and i tell you this washer lasted me for years. i never had to use the warrenty and it was convient because many times I would have to work late or work on the weekends and I had to show my daughter how to use the kenmore super capacity washer and dryer to wash her brothers clothes when i had to work on weekends. one think that amazed me was that without my knowleged she showed her brothers how to used the washer and dryer at age 11. The washer and dryer withheld much truma but held up to its standards AND NEVER HAD TO REPAIR IT AWESOME WASHER AND DRYER!!...

I bought this washer machine to replace an old wahser machine I had that would not work any more when the switch boke that the door closes down on it was hard to replace because of it's age.. Well I really enjoy this washer machine because it get's your clothes really clean, and it holds a nice bit of clothing items because of the super capcity. I would recommend this machne and brand to anyone because it's vlaue is worth investing in it....
