Kenmore 3 Burner Gas Grill with Infra-Red Cooking —
So I've been out a grill for a few months, and decided it was time to get a new one. I was on a budget, and this grill caught my eye right away. Very good looking, and sturdy. I was sold before I read the features. Then, I read the features.
This grill is 100% infrared. It uses LP, but the actual grilling surface is what makes it infrared. The burners are not exposed to any drippings at all via the shields that go between them and the grilling surface. The grilling surface itself is basically like a corrugated roof, it's not bars. Sort of like this: /\/\/\/\/\/\ , with little holes between the ridges.
This alllows the metal and infrared heat to cook the meat, not the flames. After heating the grill, when you pop the meat on, you can see the difference right away, almost instant searing.
Anyways, this grill is a great one for the money, and it's also a Kenmore, so you really can't go wrong. Feels pretty solid too. Assembly took me just over an hour, and the directions were easy to follow and helpful.
I would definitely recommend this grill to anyone on a budget or that doesn't want to break the bank. Two thumbs up!
