I purchased the above blender/food processor. Both units work good however the blender base is not removable. It's defficult the clean so you have to be carefull not to get cut when cleaning. Also my glass jar cheaped on the top while I was cleaning totally my fault. The plastic base that holds the blades...

I purchased this blender last year & so far, it is in good condition, nothing is broken so far. However, one drawback is that it makes a lot of noise when you turn on. So, if you've kid, you simply cannot use it a the kids get afraid of loud noises, otherwise its ok to use.
