We liked this cooktop at first. We have had it approximately 2 years and are now replacing it. We cook a lot and find it very hard to keep clean. Had had mine for about1.6 years,have replaced switch already,cost to repair$124.00.2 months later and now the switch in the back is out .Another $124.00I don't think so.Stove was so new noone carried the parts had to be ordered add about 3 weeks wait time .If I have it repaired it will be $256.00 in all.Look at total cost.Woorth it I don't think so
This cooktop is certainly easy to use and wipes up nicely, but... This cooktop was installed on a brand new corian top. After two months I have a rust ring all around the cooktop where the outside meets the countertop. Stainless steel should not rust. We installed a stainless steel GE in my father-in-law's kitchen a year ago. There is no rust ring.
I purchased the above item because my ceramic expensive kenmore countertop cracked. After putting a lot of money into the ceramic one I decided to choose a stainless steel countertop because of the price. I wasn't expecting it to look and work as nice as it does. Very pleased and glad I chose this one. Go ahead and purchase this item, it's definitely worth it and the price is right.
Gave it to My mother in-law for Mother's Day, and she is loving it. She replace her 15 year old cooktop for this one, and it fits perfectly .The pick up was fast and easy. Price was competible with other stores.
I bought this online and picked it up at my local store which was fast and easy. I love it. It was a bargain and I was a little pessimistic about how it would work and hold up to my cooking and it was great.
This cook top is great fit into old hole from other cook top.Cooks just great my wife love's how it boil's quickly
