“nothing but trouble”

Kenmore 30 in. Electric Double Wall Oven w/Select Clean Upper Oven —

I purchased this oven just over one year ago. It worked fine a few times. One day the bottom oven preheated and then turned off. I was not sure if I had set it right so next time I watched it as it preheated. Sure enough, the bottom oven would turn off at the click of the preheat signal. Repairmen came out numerous times, replaced parts numerous times. Thank God I purchased the master plan maintenance contract! My whole kitchen is filled with Kenmore appliances. Sears has replaced the oven free of charge. I would recommend that if you have any new appliance purchase in your future, invest a couple hundred more dollars. It was worth it! thank you Sears for excellent customer service. :0)

I had the same problem with a Kenmore oven. The oven control module blew out twice in under 5 years. The electrical components are junk.
