Kenmore 30 in. Freestanding Gas Range —
With this range you can get all the heat you want, from a small 5000 BTU burner all the way up to the big 18,000 BTU monster in the center. That one brings a huge oval pot of cold water to a boil in a hurry, or you can use sections of the big burner as smaller burners! And the griddle that fits over it eliminates the need for having an additional pan on top for eggs or pancakes. The oven's convection feature is great for evenly cooking a 26-pound turkey, which you would have to keep rotating in a conventional oven. And the outside of the range stays cool even after baking for 5 hours! The warmer drawer keeps quicker-cooking items at the right temperature for as long as you need. Cleanup is very simple because everything comes off the top of the range, leaving a smooth surface to wipe down. The grates can all go into the dishwasher. And the oven self-cleans, so that's a snap! I won't even go into all the convenient electronic features, except to say that you can set timers just about any way you need, and the oven even adjusts its temperature down to compensate for convection.
