I have purchased the item in less than a year with extended warranty. The until has a faulty control panel and when the repair man showed up, he ordered parts which will take 10 business days. When called warranty folks they said we can not help you as you have purchased the item online and that i need to call the online-leg of sears (data is not connected with the store). When called the online, they said this is a store issue because the item was picked up at the store. When went to the store, they said this issue as an online issue as it was paid for online. Go figure....Do not buy any extended...

“good value but hard to use”

I like the Kenmore brand and this purchase seems to be a good value. It has many many features on the panel...many I will never use because the "buttons" are too hard to read. The type is in off white/light grey on a grey button on a black background. I didn't notice how hard it was to read the panel in the bright lights in the store but once it was installed in my kitchen the buttons are almost impossible to read. My kitchen is well lite but I find I need to use a flash light. I memorized where the buttons I use the most and now it is an easy machine to use. It heats quickly and evenly. I...
