“DEFECTIVE MICROWAVE!!”
WE WILL NEVER BUY FROM SEARS AGAIN!!! We remodeled our kitchen in August 2008 and bought all new stainless steel Kenmore appliances. We had never had an issue wih Sears in the past and have always bought Kenmore and been fully satisfied, but this time not so much. 14 months later, our $400 microwave decided to stop heating and the carousel stopped rotating. We did not purchase an extended warranty for the microwave, but did not feel it was absurd to think that we would get a few years out of ours....we were wrong again! When we called Sears to inform them of the defect we experienced the worst customer service ever and were told that they could not help us out, other than us paying another $150 to have a repair tech come out to our home. The microwave we purchased was not worth the money we originally paid, but for some reason Sears thought it was now worth $550...sad, really. With that said, Sears lost a customer for life and the defective microwave went in the trash!
