“Why did I wait so long?”

Kenmore 300 Series Water Softener — 

I installed the model 300 myself. Took my time to make sure it was right. Afterwards, I was amazed at the difference in the water. The way it feels, the way it tastes. I wish I would have put one in years ago. One thing to note, you need a drain! I didn't find that out until I read the install instructions. I've never had a softener before, so didn't know about this little detail. Something to consider when choosing a location for this thing. Because of this, I couldn't put it next to the pressure tank.
