“Does what it's supposed to do, but.......”
Kenmore 350 Series Water Softener —
This is our third Kenmore water softener since 1979. The first one had a rotary dial and gobbled salt. The second one still gobbled salt, but had a lighted display that warned when it was going to "regenerate tonight." The current one has been on duty for several months, uses far less salt but no lighted display. There's a place right under the time for it to tell when it's going to "regenerate tonight" or "now," but I've never seen it come on automatically. All we get is hard water, suddenly, and with no indication that the softener has any plans to regenerate any time soon. Doesn't happen all the time, but still is irritating when it does. Disappointing lack of information for twice the price of the last one.Kenmore 350 Series Water Softener
