“Easy Replacement”
Kenmore 350 Series Water Softener —
My late 90's Kenmore softener developed a crack in the resin tank. Luckily I noticed this right around the year-end sale time, so off to Sears for a replacement. The new unit fit the existing plumbing exactly, so replacement was a breeze. Now, my only complaint, since I bought the closest match to the old unit's capacity, is that the 350 has no tank light and does not display water flow numerically. The new features, extended cleaning and the 97% recharge, are not of much use to me so they will be disabled. The 350 looks almost identical to the old unit internally, so I expect after 7-8 years that the seals in the head unit will need replacement. Hopefully the resin tank will last longer.Kenmore 350 Series Water Softener
