“Very cold drinks on hand!”

This is a great little fridge.  We use it in our garage for bottled water and soft drinks and such.  It keeps everything very cold, with ice slush in the drinks. 

We decorated it a little, with a Corvette flag decal on the front door.  It makes it look as custom as the specialty garage refrigerators...

“Keep your receipt!!!”

I bought this fridge because of the reviews it got. I had the first one for 2 days and it broke (dead not working at all) so I took it back and they exchanged it. “piece of ********* lasted 2 years”

I would not recommend buying this refrigerator if you want one that runs more than 2 years.

It costs more to repair than replace.Thanks Sears

“Perfect for what I need”

I have only had this unit for a few weeks, but I am very satisfied so far. It is loaded with about: 12 bottles of beer, 6 bottles of drinking water, 18 cans of soda. Plus or minus a couple. It is in my detached garage. There is no air-conditioning in there. Where I live it hit 100 degrees today, and it's probably 105 in the garage with NO air moving around. Yet the drinks are cold and ready to drink - and I don't even have it on its coldest setting. I'd give it SIX stars if I could...

“NOT Recommended!”

This Kenmore 4.6 cu. ft. compact refrigerator can only be described as absolute junk. The first one we had purchased worked for only 3 days. We then had to empty the contents and cart it back to return it for a working replacement. To our disappointment, the second compact refrigerator replacement worked for only 16 months and then it suddenly died. We feel that products of this type, that seem to function for such a short period of time are just totally unacceptable. During its very short lifespan it was also quite noisy. It kept kicking on and off emitting a loud annoying hum. You should...

“This Kenmore compact fridge is wonderful.”

I'm a single guy and let me tell you.This thing work's great!Really is does!I've had it for nearly a week now and I have not been upset at all.It's quiet running and it fit's great in my small apartment.Though I do have one qualm about,the icecube tray is a little to small but thats all I can find wrong with it.Also,it fit's perfectly on the counter top.As for the style.I picked it out because it looks like something I would own.The stainless steel front is simple to wipe down plus the black frame really compliments the stainless steel.

All in all I would reccomend this product to anyone in which...

“Overall it's great”

We are very happy with our GE compact refrigerator. We got it for the family room to have a place for sodas and drinks so they would be close by. Only one tiny complaint. It doesn't have an interior light. For some reason they didn't put one in the unit, and I think it could really use one. Other than that, it works great, and Sears was great. We placed the order one morning, got text confirmation to my phone that afternoon that I could pick it up that evening. How about that for service. Sears rocks!!

“Noisy fridge”

The one important criterea that I was looking for in a fridge is its quietness as my current fridge is driving me nuts with the incessant humming noise. A couple of reviewers here say that this fridge is "very quiet" and I based on these reviews, I proceeded to purchase the appliance. It arrived today. After plugging it into the outlet, the only conclusion I can come to is that whoever said this fridge is quiet must be severely deaf. It's even noiser than the full fridge that I am trying to replace. I will have to return it - and what a hassle it will be considering it is 72 pounds. I do not recommend...

“Great for office”

I bought this for office and am quite pleased. I thought this size(4.6) would be better than the smaller one and I am happy I got this size. It is quiet and very cold. Exactly what I wanted. I like to keep a selection of beverages for clients and this is perfect for that use and has extra room for a few snacks too. Great space.

Kenmore 4.6 cu. ft. Compact Refrigerator, great looking, perfect size for our basement. But after 2 weeks the ice tray is still full of cold water with the unit on high.

“Nearly perfect”

I puchased this fridge because my previous ~1 cu foot fridge was too small. I like this one because it has such a tiny freezer, I didn't want a freezer compartment in a compact fridge. It is a bit noisier when it runs than I thought it would be, but still quiet enough to not be a problem. If I had to gripe about the fridge at all, it's that the distance between floor and first shelf is not enough to store a beer bottle. And then when the upper shelf is set high enough to allow bottles to fit in the middle section, there is not enough room between the top shelf and the freezer bottom for more bottles.... read full review »

“This Item is Great!!!”

I Just bought this item, and it works like a Charm, seems that some people get the unforutnate ones, hopefully this one will hold up. I like it, it works for me, looks good, and is fuctional, very helpful if you have a large family, are in a dorm, or you just need a fridge for over flow, etc. I give it a 8, because it could use a light, but other than that it's great, and it's what i was looking for, with a resonable price tag.
