“Good to beat the heat”
Kenmore 5,000 BTU Single Room Air Conditioner —
During a hot period I ended up buying two units to cool down our bedrooms. In about 20-30 minutes it was down right friged in our rooms, so that was good. Before I left for work I opened the bedroom doors to allow the air to get around our place, with the assistance of some fans. Worked like a charm. Now for the annoyance.... One of the units gets a little loud, so I have to pop off the filter cover so it doesn't vibrate. Otherwise, no problems with that unit. The other unit ended up collecting water. Not sure how as it was draining properly, but when you would turn on the unit it would be loud and water would shoot out. Checked the drain plug and let it run during the day and it dried itself out. No problems since. Don't fool yourself into thinking any AC unit is quite, but this one is not as loud as some. On low it is about as loud as a desk fan.Kenmore 5,000 BTU Single Room Air Conditioner
