Just purchased a Kenmore 5 burner with back burner and ceramic side burner gas grill. It took me several weeks to decide on what grill to buy since I have owned several over the years. I looked at several places and researched many grills online. This grill had everything that I wanted and it was on sale too! Had to get a neighbor to help me unload it off my truck and he commented WOW, what a cool grill! He is a chef and hadn't noticed the Kenmore name but wanted to know where I got it. When I told him he said "I didn't know Sears made this good of a grill". Even the salesperson...

I've purchased my grill back in April and replaced it 3 times! The wheel popped off when I rolled it about two feet from the house to start it up (it went back). The second grill had a regulator issue; one diner and it wouldn't put out any more heat (it went back). The third grill was smashed at the bottom in the box (it went back). This is a nice looking grill at a very good price with all the things you would want in a grill....if you didn't want to use it! It is made with very cheap metal and the feel of quality craftmanship is totally missing. I have purchased Kenmore in the past...
read full review »I've been using this grill for over a month now and it hasn't rusted, it's still red and it hasn't fallen apart. So far the only negative is the size or rather the lack of size for the main grill drip pan.
This grill was very easy to convert to natural gas and the electrodes are probably the best I've ever seen. However, beyond those two items, there isn't much else nice to say about the grill. I am very diligent in covering my grill and after a couple of months the red has faded to pink and there are rust spots on the "stainless" steel. I am yet to get the grill to go over 300 degrees, granted I don't think the temperature guage is even close to accurate, but it is difficult to get the grill to "grilling" temperatures. They used very light weight metal and cheap parts. I believe that $600...
read full review »Very poor quality and construction. I had two of these grills and both exhibited poor design, quality, stainless steel panels and handles that rusted, bad regulators, cracked electrodes, wire harnesses that were not connected and steel panels that were so light that they bent just moving the grill on it's casters!
Deeply disappointed with this grill. Hard to clean! Red color faded and doors rusted!
This item came almost fully assembled! It took me less that 20 minutes to finish the assembly. I love this grill. Steaks are great on the searing module and finished on the grill!!
OK, first of all this is 3rd attepmt at writing this review, website has issues.
I had Sears put it together, mistake #1, bought the rotisserie mistake #2. the bottom cabinet was bent, the wheels on the bottom were bent, the bolts holding on the hood fell out while it was at 400deg. the rotisserie sections stripped out straight out of the box, (welded it together to use). Purchased a cover which was too big and get cought under the bent wheels. the only good thing about the cover is that it hides the fact that the cabinet is bent, the drawers are out of wack because of the bent frame. I waited...

The 4th of July menu included Cedar planked Salmon, Grilled Vegetables, Corn on the Cob, and Burgers & Dogs all perfectly grilled and timed on the new Grill. The nickname "Man Kitchen" was coined by my wife as the brothers-in-law coveted the built in Searing burner and ever important bottle opener.
Cannot say enough about this excellent grill!
We bought this unit based on favorable CR reviews. Indeed, when it arrived it was beautiful and worked well for about 2 months. But, soon the problems started, the casing is extremely cheap and the ceramic grill surface, and upper rack were very cheap and fitted poorly. The burners started unevenly lighting about 3 months after purchase with light to moderate use and by 8 months the burners would often flame out or not light at all. I thought that this was due to a windy location but on a recent beautiful summer night, I only could get 1 or two burners to light. Never used the back burner and used...
read full review »My wife and I bought the Kenmore 5-burner grill when it was on sale and have been very satisfied with it. It has a good enamel paint coating that provides protection as it sits outside our patio subject to exposure to rain. We bought a canvas cover for it but it still is subject to the moisture and humidity. We converted the grill from the propane tank to our natural gas line with little problem. The grill has the capacity to cook a lot of items at one time and the grates are fairly easy to clean.
