DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!  The Kenmore Power Vent, 50 Gallon has been nothing but problems since it was purchased.  Dealing with customer care at Sears is not what you would expect.  On hold for 50 minutes, then transferred to another department.  All with the same response, sorry there's nothing we can do for you.  Do yourself a favor and go to another store.

Hi XPX-Welcome to MySears!  What is wrong with your heater?  How long have you had it?  There may be some members on the site who can help.

I had the water heater since late 2006.  It seems like every 3 months it stops working and I spend a week without hot water.  Multiple problems with this water heater.

I am going to send this along to SearsCares to see if they can help.  Keep an eye on this thread to see if they have responded in the next day or so.

If SearsCares is anything like their customer service.  Your request is in vain.  I just filed a complaint with bbb.org.  I seriously advise anyone against buying products from Sears.

And so it continues.  Sorry, we can not help you is all you will hear.  Again, avoid Sears at all costs.  They have the worst service ever.

Do you have a Master Protection Agreement on the water heater?

What kind of things have been going wrong with it?

Was the water heater installed by Sears?
