“Water Heater”

My old water heater (kenmore) finally went out. It was a 1985 that was in service for 24 years. I naturally purchased a new Kenmore 50 Gal water heater. It was easy to install, and I had hot water within 15 minutes of the gas being lit. With the 2 inches of insulation, I will not have to wrap an insulation blanket around it, making it even easier to install!

“piece of junk. don't buy!”

Pilot won't stay lit just 15 months after installation!! Apparently this is a known problem that is not fixable.
