We purchased this dryer when we first moved into our house, along with the Kenmore 500 Washer. So far, we have been very satisfied with this dryer. It has several options for drying times and heat, although we usually just use the standard setting. One thing I wish it had was a shoe rack for drying. I've tried putting my sneakers in with some towels, but the door always comes open. Overall, everything we needed for a great price.

My wife and I got this unit, along with the Kenmore 500 Washer, about 2 months ago. So far so good really does sum it up. It fits a lot of clothes, but considering we came from using apartment dryers I guess anything seems like a lot in comparison. SEARS installed it fast and effectively. The price was the most competable compared to that of ********, Howards, and even SEARS Outlet. It does the job without a lot of bells and whistles.

We're both happy, and hopefully so far so good will continue on for many years. We would recommend this product to friends and family. Don't get caught up in the hype of having to have a "cool" looking dryer and does so many things. All that means is so many things can go wrong.

This drier operates quietly and dries well.

Our dissappointment is that we ordered the vent kit with the explicit understanding that it included and would replace the existing exterior house-mounted vent and the pipe section through the house wall. It did not!

This drier has exceeded my expectations. Dries great every time for this family of four. Would highly recommend this product. Easy to use and the door works great! The price point for what you get is super! Will buy more Kenmoore products after this positive experience.

Had a GE previously which had a horrible loud hum and was fixed once *(something about the drum) and then it started up again. All this within 7 years...

So... dumped it and got this Kenmore. IT IS FANTASTIC.. I can't believe how much faster and better it dries clothes. It is a workhorse... large drum area, simple to use controls and light inside. All good. Wish I had gotten it long ago as I know it is saving me money already.

Our ancient dryer died in August 2009 and our repairman told us it would be cheaper this time to replace the dryer than to put a new motor in the old one...so off to Sears we went. We wanted a basic dryer. The Kemore 500 fills the bill. The selection of drying temperatures is good. I like the air only (no heat) feature for fluffing my down comforter, too. I can even dry a sleeping bag in it! I love the lighted drum and the top lint filter, too.

This replaced my 22-year old whirlpool and I LOVE IT! What a difference. Not the top of the line, but it tops in my book. Dries well, light inside the drum is very cool and I absolutely love the wrinkle guard.

This dryer has worked well so far. It doesn't have a million options, but it has plenty to take care of our needs. There's a regular temp. and delicate, and you can also just set it to a certain amount of time on high. It seems huge inside and has handled our regular dryer loads of clothes, including heavy jeans. Great basic dryer that won't leave you broke....

I am so sorry that I bought the 500 series washer and dryer. The washer is ok but the dryer can;t dry the loads at the same rate the washer washes them. It takes over an hour to dry half a load of clothes....
