Since our 1st Whirlpool dryer (1971 gas model), we have not been able to find a decent electric dryer that always drys all the clothes the 1st time. This unit does exactly that. This in spite of the fact that our vent system was not ideal (greater than 10 feet in length and with two 90 degree turns. In our opinion, this unit has just the right amount of selections and controls. As I say in the "sound bite", the automatic dry sensor actually works. Our energy (electric) bill took a significant nosedive the month we bought & installed the unit. The savings continue to date.
I love the Kenmore Dryer. It has saved me alot on the electric bill and gets the clothes dry in no time. This is my second Kenmore appliance, and I would not have it any other way. Great appliances.....
The variety of drying options is great. Even set on low, it drys beautifly. Another winner from Kenmore.
I have always been a faithful owner/buyer of kenmore products.
I bought this very same dryer 7and 1/2 years ago and. It has been the best dryer I have ever owned. It still works as well as it did the day I bought it! It drys my clothes very quickly and is very energy efficient.
I can tell by my utility bill as I use my dryer very frequently.

This sure is a reasonably priced dryer considering how many features it has. While mine did not come with a shoe rack as stated by another reviewer, it did come with some other niceties that were not mentioned. The door to this dryer folds down like a tray rather than swinging out, which makes loading and unloading a breeze. When you open the door, the spacious interior is illuminated by a light just like your refrigerator, a feature that has helped reduce the number of orphan socks in my drawer. Bought this dryer in December and it works great. I like the auto dry on it. It dries your clothes faster. I also like the wrinkle guard. No more wrinkles in the clothes. It is also nice because it comes with a shoe rack, so if you want to dry your shoes or dry some type of clothing that you do not want tumbled, you just place it on there.
This is the best dryer I ever had... dry so nicely and stay winkle free.
This dryer if perfect for the price. It is very quiet and works well. If you want something simple, this is it.
I have had this dryer for ~2 years - it has proven very reliable and dependable. It doesn't have all the whistles and bells of some of the more expensive dryers, but it does the job.
The door is sturdy and I like the way it opens out - it makes loading/unloading easier.
Good light - easy to see inside.
Controls are easy to use.
This is a very nice basic dryer that is dependable and works great.
I have really enjoyed my new dryer. I like the fact that you can choose all different kinds of heat settings to match your clothes' needs.
Have owned since Nov. 06 and very pleased. Great capacity and drys clothes quick. Auto setting works well as long as like fabrics are dryed together. Easy to use.
