This dryer was exactly what I looked for - one with the door that dropped straight down, instead of sideways - so much easier to load, unload, fold dried clothes on. It was on sale/price was right (good), great size (good), quiet (good), does the job (good). I've had Kenmore appliances for a long time and will continue....

I purchased this dryer about 8 months ago and absolutely love it. The pull down door is great. It keeps cloths from falling on the floor when removing them from the dryer. It is very efficient and quiet which is what I like about it most. It is also an energy star appliance....

I love my Kenmore Dryer. It takes a large loas of laundry and dries efficiently. It is quiet and very reliable. Great dryer for the money!!!...

First one stopped working after one month, the replacement made it a whole 3 months. Still fighting with sears to get that repaired or exchanged. The local tech can get to me in 2 weeks....

This dryer dries clothes efficiently and is easy for teenagers to use. It is big enough for a family of 6. It has an alarm to let you know when timer is done. Great value for your money and have no problems....

This dryer gets the job done. I have only had it for about 9 months, but so far it has been very reliable. But the dryer that this one replaced I bought from sears and it lasted 10 years. I do not have the matching washer though.

I love my new dryer so far. We've only had it about a week, but dry time is great. I love the different heat settings, time/ fluff setting and the freature that you can actually trun the buzzer off (it's loud when it buzzes). The one thing I do not care for is that the lint filter is located on top of the dryer rather than in the dryer. It just seems messer on top....

This dryer was faster then I anticipated. It was an easy set-up and fit exactly where I needed it to be. Easily the best dryer for the buck. I received a very good deal with many promotions and it almost slashed the price by half. It was out of stock when I first purchased the item. However I did come in 2 days before Christmas and they were still able to ship it to the store on time. Great overall customer service....

This dryer replaces a similar older model that I had for 30 years! The moisture sensor is better, and the machine is quieter overall. I like the louder buzzer because I rarely heard the old machine's signal in the basement. I also prefer the door that opens downward rather than to the side.

After using hand-me-down dryers for years, it is an awesome pleasure to find a large capacity dryer at an affordable price. This dryer has all the features one could want in a dryer. I can even dry my King sized quilts!!!!!!! I have a large capacity washer, but would some times have to divide the loads in order to dry them and there was no way to dry even a queen size quilt much less a king. We are saving on time and electricity now, because we are drying less loans. For a working couple, less time spent doing laundry is more time we can spend on things we enjoy. The auto sensor drying setting is great, because it knows when the clothes are dry and takes the quess work out of the process which also saves energy cost. I think this dryer would fit anyone from the single person to the family with 2 to 4 kids and the price is one that would fit any budget. My grandparents would never own any washer, dryer or other electric appliance except a Kenmore. As I grow older and have...

Got this back about a year ago along with the Kenmore 600 washer. Like the washer it can handle a large load. We have had it a year now with no trouble. We got the extended protection and had the sears maitenance check done a little while ago. While we hope nothing goes wrong with it we like knowing a sears tech is only a phone call away since we'd be in trouble without a dryer. And the maitenance check is needed anyways to keep lint from building up inside and I don't normally have the time to do it myself.

Only reason i didn't give it five stars is because it isn't energy effecient, but not much is at this price point.

We bought this product last week and I love the fact that when the clothes are dry the dryer knows this and it does not continue to heat especially when I am drying towels. Our family does a lot of laundry and we do large loads so I had to have something that would not only dry big loads but save energy as well. I have never owned anything but a Kenmore and probably won't ever change that.

The Kenmore 600 dyer was working fine for 1 year. Was quiet, easy to use and dried great. Shortly after the first year of purchasing it, it stopped heating although the unit turned. The coil went bad. My last Kenmore dryer lasted 19 years. I expected this one to last at least 5 years before issues. Cost about a 1/3 of the purchase price to fix it. My motto is if they can't make a product to last a reasonable amount of time I won't be buying the brand (Kenmore) again.

This dryer has been great for us. I love that it senses when clothes are dried and automatically turns to just air rather than heat. It has not failed us yet on this...clothes have always been dry when coming out.

This dryer dries clothing quickly regardless of which of the four clothing weight settings used. It easily holds a large load of clothing. The vent screen is on the top right hand side of this dryer near the on knob, making it easy to use and easy to remember to clean.

It was a great value for the money, and continues to pay back in its efficiency.

We've had this dryer now for three weeks and could not be happier. It has a sensor inside that can tell when clothes are dry and then reduces heat so clothes will not wrinkle.
