Our old freezer finally died so we purchased this model. It was smaller and more energy efficient which sorted our needs better. It is lightweight and a lot easier to move than our old one. There is plenty of storage space for a family of 5. However, if you buy in bulk with large items, then the 8.8 cu ft freezer or larger would be better.
