“8-gal humidifier is a must!”

Kenmore 8-gal Humidifier — 

I live in a basement apartment with 6 furnaces right behind my apartment. My apartment was always so dry, my 2 cats and I (I know, crazy old cat lady,) were constantly dry and itchy. It is like night and day. It holds 2.4 gallons at one time, (I was afraid it was going to be gigantic when I was waiting for it to come. The first two days, I had to refill it quite often. That was because everything was SO DRY in here. Now, it is reducing it's output to just maintain my humidity level. I keep it set at 45%. This keeps my apartment at around 30%. As far as the sensor being too close to the unit, I put the instruction book over the sensor, so the flow is not hitting it directly, and the instructions are always handy. It is just Great!
