I owned this washing machine for 1 1/2 years and the temperature control and timer switch went bad. It was under warranty so I had to go through Sears for the repair. I was without a washer for over two weeks because they did not have the part. Now, 1 1/2 years later, I have the exact same problem. Sears told me to call Whirlpool and Whirlpool told me to call Sears. There is obviously a defect in the washer or these parts. Now I have an independent repair man coming to fix it. I will never purchase another product from Sears....or any maker of Sears appliances.
Too bad the divertors last less than a year. I have 3 units with broken divertors, they want $50 for the part. I paid about that for the complete unit. Any ideas where to get a deal on the divertor?
Kenmore appliances fall apart, just like this one did.
The Ice Cream compartment makes it so easy...no waiting for it to thaw out a bit before you can enjoy it. All this room...just gotta order that side of beef next!
I wish I didn't have to give this washer 1 star! Have had the repairman out twice, but still having the same problem. The washer won't spin the clothes dry. I've tried taking everything out and redistributing, tried smaller loads, tried starting the entire wash cycle over, nothing helps. The clothes always wind up sopping wet. Maybe I got a lemon, but I've read where other reviewers have had the same problem. Sometimes it takes me 2-3 days to get 1 load of laundry done; I'm constantly running out of clean clothes to wear. It seems to clean okay when I can actually get the thing to work, but I...

Everything it fine so far. We have only had it installed for two weeks. My brother and I installed it. It did not come with the outer cover to protect the controls. I haven't addressed that issue yet. Hopefully Sears will trust me and know that I didn't get it and order me one.
We will see.
This water heater really does the job. The internal thermostat does seem very sensitive and turns on the burner after only a gallon of use, but then my old one was very slow to respond so this may not be an accurate opinion. However, the burner does fire up for the appropriate amount of water used and doesn't seem to take long to bring the tank back to normal temps. I installed it myself after balking at the $309 charge for Sears to do it. In my case, it went in with no problems. Overall, this is a good water heater that is manufactured by A. O. Smith - a dependable name in the water...

I just bought this washer not too long ago....and so far ok..This gets my clothes more clean than the old one with the ajitator. They smell better and it seems to pull more dirt out than I thought it would. Hard to get use to not pulling up the top every other minute. Only because it locks. So far so good...and I have no complaints. My clothes dry in half the time now and I can wash my bed pillows and my large blankets. Kenmore is a great product and I am a satisfied customer at the cost of $450 dollars.......
My last slow cooker was a "cheapy" from Aldi. But I loved that thing. It stood the test of time - until it fell off my counter a couple of times. Needless to say, Super Bowl Sunday, I was expecting a number of guests and that "cheapy" crock pot failed to deliver heat. Hubby and I scrambled into the car with our children and headed to town. After checking all over town, we stopped into Sears. Instantly fell in love with this unit. Right price. Right size. Came with that bonus cute sauce warmer. Matched my kitchen decor. The crock part of my old slow cooker even fit inside of it!! BONUS!! The only...

Recently purchased this freezer for our garage. Shelves are spaced for maximum storage. Freezer was very noisy at first. There was a metal tube near the compressor vibrating and hitting the side of the unit. The tube was moved about 1/8 inch away from the side and the noise went away. The unit is very stable. I would like to have a small light (led) come on when the unit is on to indicate that there is power to the unit. ALL the outlets in my garage are on a GFI outlet and the light would indicate if the GFI has tripped.
The manual specifically states that the sides including...

I've used this machine for three months now and am as unhappy as can be with it. Don't buy a machine that "senses" your load level. I've pulled out shirts that, after a wash and two rinse cycles, has dry spots on it. If the clothes don't get wet, how can they be cleaned?
