Solid Dishwasher

Kenmore Built-In Dishwasher w/ Light & Fast Wash Cycles —

I purchased this Kenmore dishwasher to replace an old Maytag that was no longer working, and I decided to go with a Kenmore because of their reliability. Overall this is a good dishwasher; it does not have all the latest and greatest features such as fold down tines or turbo jets, however in terms of washing dishes it does a pretty good job. This dishwasher is not the quietest model available, but it's the quietest dishwasher I've ever owned. I've also noticed that it will not removed caked-on food very well, so those of you looking to blast away your pots & pans this one may not be for you (please note that I have not tried every single wash cycle, and that could be the reason). It does have a couple of features I love such as the individual slots for the silverware, the Cycle Status Lights (tells you which cycle the dishwasher is in and will illuminate the clean button green until the door is opened and closed; good for those of us who always wonder whether the dishes are clean or dirty), and it won't blast my cups off the top rack like my mother's old dishwasher. Again if you need just a dishwasher without all the fancy features I would recommend this one.
