I've used these 3 M Filtrete bags since I purchased my Kenmore Progressive vacuum cleaner 7 years ago. Even though they're expensive, they are the only bags I'll use. The dust and dirt stay in the bag and does not create a dust cloud while you're vacuuming. If you have pets or have allergies these are... read full review »

These are the bags I prefer to use with the my Kenmore canister. My two big issues: 1) The bag is a bizarre size relative to the canister itself. It is not entirely intuitive how to install the bag as a result, and it simply does not fit well. I have had some occasions where dust got all over the inside... read full review »

"These Kenmore very large capacity HEPA fabric cloth bags, do a excellent job at keeping all the dirt and dust inside the bag; however, they cost more $ per individual bag then it's worth purchasing." "I highly recommend purchasing the Kenmore canister type C Allergen Filtration bags, instead because you're getting 8 bags in a pack plus it's a much better deal and value for the money

These are the highest quality bags on the market as far as I am concerned; Feel like actual layers of cloth. They are expensive but I would prefer to pay the price than use paper bags because of all the dust I am capturing! Super canister vac too! I wish the bags were reusable, but that would be so messy and dusty. Do you ever have specials on these bags? My siblings and I bought our mom a new canister vac from Sears for Christmas. She likes the way it moves in all directions including the hose. My sister purchased one after she saw it. I had researched it on Consumer Reports. She raves about hers... read full review »

Though these are rather expensive they seem to be worth it since they cut down on dust so effectively and they hold so much more. They last much longer than the paper bags and do a better job, justifying the cost.

I Purchased the vacuum that uses these bags in Late 1998 - or - Early 1999. These Bags are the very best. Sears Would Not Be Happy, But a Couple of Times, I accidentally vacuumed up Water Into My "Progressive" Vacuum. Not Much, But These Bags Absolutely Do Not Disintegrate. I Have Never Had My Progressive In For Any Repair. Air Flow is Probably as Much as Double With These Bags, Yet, The Super High Speed Impact of Debris Into The Bag, Does No Damage to The Bag. I Will Only Purchase a Vacuum That Uses These Bags.

I began using the Blue Moon Kenmore Progressive canister, w/these HEPA bags, and my daughter's chronic allergic (dust-mite, etc. allergies) cough DISAPPEARED! I love this vacuum and these bags. I recommend this item totally. I know that there are cheaper substitute bags available, but these HEPA bags are SOOO worth the money.

These bags hold everything. You do not get that "dust cloud" when you remove the bag. My carpets are cleaner than ever before.

I vacuum for a living and these bags are the best. 5055 was the best design ever. I use them every day on my kitchen floor. Keep up the great work, Sears and God Bless America.

I have owned only Electrolux vacuum cleaners most of my house cleaning life, and I just purchased a new Sears Progressive canister with the Hepa filter. I was only given one bag, the one that was in the vacuum cleaner. I have a dog and 5 cats, and after two vacuumings, my filter was pretty full from the dust & hairs. I have wood floors, but two large area rugs. The vacuum cleaner was not exactly easy to get started. Unlike my electrolux, which was easy to fit together, the Progressive was not. I had to literally turn to the directions, which is not something I was accustomed to with the Electrolux....

I have owned a Progressive  for about 6 years and have used the HEPA bags, the bag itself holds dust but the entry way of the bag does not, for the last 3-4 years the connection where the bag hooks up leaks massive amount of dust, it is wore out, like pretty much everything else on the vacuum, I have lost both wheels on the brush part, the brush is making a horrendous noise, the vacuum does not seem to suck as much as my old one I had previously to this one, I had it in for repair the connection from tube to the brush broke, and I could not undo the connection at the hand held area to the hose....

Kenmore Canister Vacuum Bags are pretty easy to use, even if you're older than old.  They hold up really well.

Both the vacuum and the hepa bags are an outstanding product. I have a small dog who sheds and his dog hair gets distributed all over the house. The Kenmore progressive vacuum has a performance indicator light is great ! When the light is red it indicates that it is picking up dirt. Green means it's clean. This is extremely helpful because you can't see what you may have missed. The red light indicator tells you it is picking up the smaller particals. This assures that no hair or dander gets left behind. I am very impressed and wouldn't trade this vacuum w/hepa bags for any other !!!

I continue to be very pleased with the value of the purchases I have made at SEARS over the years. And I really like being able to purchase supplies online. I purchased vacuum bags for my Kenmore Canister Vacuum-the 3M Filtrete design. Combined with the dust filtration features of the machine, these bags give even more control over fine dust when using the unit-and when disposing of the bag when finished. I plan to order more in the future.

The bags are good for holding the dust down even when removing them from the vacuum cleaner - I like being able to order them and them arriving on time from Sears. I will be doing this again
