Most HelpfulI have owned only Electrolux vacuum cleaners most of my house cleaning life, and I just purchased a new Sears Progressive canister with the Hepa filter. I was only given one bag, the one that was in the vacuum cleaner. I have a dog and 5 cats, and after two vacuumings, my filter was pretty full from the dust & hairs. I have wood floors, but two large area rugs. The vacuum cleaner was not exactly easy to get started. Unlike my electrolux, which was easy to fit together, the Progressive was not. I had to literally turn to the directions, which is not something I was accustomed to with the Electrolux....
read full review »I have owned a Progressive for about 6 years and have used the HEPA bags, the bag itself holds dust but the entry way of the bag does not, for the last 3-4 years the connection where the bag hooks up leaks massive amount of dust, it is wore out, like pretty much everything else on the vacuum, I have lost both wheels on the brush part, the brush is making a horrendous noise, the vacuum does not seem to suck as much as my old one I had previously to this one, I had it in for repair the connection from tube to the brush broke, and I could not undo the connection at the hand held area to the hose....
read full review »Kenmore Canister Vacuum Bags are pretty easy to use, even if you're older than old. They hold up really well.
