Kenmore Canister Vacuum, Blue Reviews

Bought this several months ago and really love it.  It is so quiet compared to my last vacuum (not a Kenmore).  The vacuum seems to glide over the carpet.  Good suction.  The floor feature is pretty good but I will use the carpet feature on my bare floor.  Seems to work better.  The attachments are easy to use.  We have 3 dogs and it picks up pet hair on the furniture.   Would recommend this product. 

I love my Kenmore canister. After years of using bagless uprights that have no suction and make a mess when you empty them, I finally went back to a vacuum that uses bags and I love it. I had also forgotten how great it is to vacuum under furniture with the power nozzle. Speaking of which, the power nozzle works great on this vacuum. The only problem I have is that it's a little tricky plugging and unplugging the electric part of the power nozzle which is why I gave it four stars instead of five. There are a few plastic latches that seem flimsy but for the price, this is a well-built vacuum.

I researched vacuums for a while; **************** and some other websites.  About 7 or so years ago I owned the Kenmore red and was very happy with it until the wiring inside the wand broke.  It was too expensive to replace, so I purchased a new Kirby.  Talk about expensive.  Anyway, I'm hoping that this one holds up better.  As for performance, it can't be beat.  It cleans as well as my Kirby, (the beast) but it"s much lighter weight and more user friendly.  I don't mind vacuuming at all now.  Anybody want to buy a used Kirby?

10 years ago when I moved from Europe to FL I had no idea which vacuum cleaner would be best for me. The big choice was confusing. I have 2 cats, Oriental carpets, wall-to-wall carpets and tiles - the decision was not easy.

A friend draw my attention to this model - I bought it and it worked perfectly for 10 years. Unfortunately some cat toys ruined the motor and I had to buy a new one.

I bought this item because my mother recommended it. First time I used it, it worked fine. I asked my wife if she found it obnoxiously loud, and she said yes. I call the number on the vacuum, and was told to bring it back because it was supposed to be relativity quiet. I exchanged it for a new one, but the same problem. If you don't care about the noise, it's a good by. If you looking for something quiet, get something else.

I have 4 dogs - totally more than 400 pounds - who all have long hair or undercoats and live inside.  I bought my Kenmore canister vacuum 5 years ago after reading a **************** articles saying it was one of the best for dog hair.  Now, I would not trade it for anything!!!  My grandmother recently gave me her brand new vacuum - a different brand - and I have had to pass it on to a friend because it would not even move the dog hair.  But my 4-year-old workhorse Kenmore still works wonderfully!!!

I bought the Kenmore Canister Vacuum and love it! It's very easy to use and is awesome on picking up dog hair, mud, grass, you name it.  I have an Australian Shepherd and a Farmer husband and the floors get very messy.  I would recommend this vacuum to all my friends and family. It's reasonably priced compared to others and works great and is easy to use.  It's light weight to pick up on stairs and I like how the head easily comes off to use the long handle part to get cobwebs and such from the ceiling. 

I had green carpet that collected white lint! Only the Kenmore canister would get it clean. Now 3 family members & my housekeeper have one.

When I first got my canister vacuum I loved it, but it went downhill from there.  It breaks down all the time!  I have to take it in now for the third time in the past 10 months!!!  The current problem is that when I plug it in nothing happens, no power!  The cord is also very short.  I also bought the 6 year warranty which Sears tells me they have no record of.  I purchased online which was a mistake, because it did not come with proof of warranty.  Even if they honored the warranty I am still getting rid of this vacuum.  Every time it breaks I have to drive across town to drop it off,...

I'm not a professional house cleaner...I just have the usual floorcare needs that any family with kids does.  So I was a little nervous about NOT buying the most expensive version of the kenmore canister vacuums.  Kenmore canister vacs are the only kind of vacs I have ever used and I love them.  This model works perfectly for my needs.  It's lightweight and has great suction.....and it's quieter than my older model.   I really, truly have no complaints about my purchase...in fact....I'm very happy with my choice.

I purchased this vacuum about a week ago, to replace a three year old green Kenmore canister. I purchased this for my mother, who had sworn by uprights until about three years ago when I bought her her first kenmore canister. Having made the transition from complete wall-to-wall in her home to mostly bare floors and large area rugs, it made sense for her to have a canister vacuum. I was afraid that the power of the canister would not meet her needs/standards. We were both pleasantly surprised and have been avid kenmore canister fans since.

Very easy to assemble, use, and store.  Powerful for pet hair.  My carpets have never looked this clean.  Very happy with the vacuum.  Love the handle on the top for easy carry and the storage compartments.

Buying a new appliance is never easy. You love what you have and have enjoyed it for many years. We've had a Dyson now for 6 yrs and it broke yesterday (11-15-09).
