Kenmore Canister Vacuum Cleaner Yellow (26082) —

If you are looking for a decent,low cost vac for hardwood floors or non carpet areas this one is great. I have all hardwood floors in my house and have 5 dogs. This vac is great for picking up dog hair and getting into corners. It has great suction. I also use it to clean out my mini van and it works well for that too. I just bought my third one in 6 years today. I use it 3x per week on my entire house and clean it out once every two weeks. I definitely get my money out of them. I haven't been able to find another one that I like as well even in the expensive brands.
