“great little vac for hardwood floors”

If you are looking for a decent,low cost vac for hardwood floors or non carpet areas this one is great. I have all hardwood floors in my house and have 5 dogs. “Ugh!”

Worst vacuum I have ever used. Might be good for car, that's about it. “Great buy for the price”

I really like this canister vacuum cleaner. You can't get anything better for under $60.00. I have wood floors, and tile..and it works great on these floors. I have a small dog with white hair, and this vacuum effectively picks up the dog hair off my large and small rugs and futon. I totally recommend it for someone who doesn't want to spend a lot of money on a vacuum cleaner, but still wants something that gets the job done. I love the multiple attachments, and I find the canister easy to clean. All cheap vacuums require frequent emptying of dirt, so I don't find this one to be any less burdensome....

“Great little vacuum for the price!”

Great for tile floors, not for carpet.  The suction is fantastic.  I also own the same model that I bought 5 years ago for my vacation home and that one is still going strong.  The new updated vacuum has a telescoping handle that is convenient.  The only thing that I miss with the new one, is the wand attachment for corners, that is not included.  Great little vacuum for the price!

“A good little vacuum”

This is a good little vacuum for the money. It is very dependable, if you are willing to empty the dirt chamber after you use it. It comes with a double layer dirt filter in the dirt cup and a small brush to help you clean the filter here. This unit is well made and comes with several attachments. We have owned it since last fall and I have been impressed with the way it cleans. It will have to be cleaned out regularly, so if you do not like to empty the vacuum, do not get this vacuum. It does a good job picking up dog hair, dust, and general stuff around the house.

“This little beast really sucks.”

I just bought this and I tested it out in my rug. It vacuumed really well. I bought it specifically to vacuum my car. It really has a lot of vacuuming power.

“I had one for 11 years using it DAILY around my bird flight cage”

I had this small Kenmore vacumn for over 11 years, using it DAILY to clean up around my bird flight cage and using it bi-weekly to clean my entire home.  It never needed repairs and worked beautifully.  I, without hesitatiion, went right back to Sears to buy another one at a terrificly reasonable price when it ultimately died of exhaustion!   It is quite a little trouper, very easy to manuever around furniture and under the couch.  As it has no vacumn bags, I save money with every use.  All I do is empty the filter, rinse under the faucet and use again.  All of the appliances we use should...

“Canister Vacuum review”

If you buy this vacuum (20 26082) yellow canister Kenmore), you will no doubt regret it. The problem I discovered is that the filter is not adequate for use without a bag, and the unit is not designed to use a bag, and there is no bag available for this model. What happens, is that after vacuuming up about 2 to 4 ounces of dirt / dust, the unit is completely plugged, and will not suck any more until cleaned. “Great Suction, however --”

I use this inexpensive vacuum for general cleaning of floors, area rugs, and furniture only. It has excellent suction and is easy to move from place to place . It is not designed or built for cleaning carpets. Its deficiencies are (1) FULL indicator should be redesigned - activates too early and (2) the two operating buttons need to be made different so to distinguish them easier (I used a red marking pencil so I could immediately identify the Power button)

“Spend a little more, it'll be worth it!”

For an average size room (12 x 12), I have to empty the chamber 3 or 4 times. It doesn't have good suction. There is a fluttering sound it makes that is very annoying. Make sure the hose is empty before you put it in the closet, debris remains in the hose. I'm returning it today.

“DISAPPOINTED”

HATE this vacuum!! My house is all hardwood and it barely sucked anything. In fact it would not even suck a raisin off the floor. Why does Kenmore put their name on this???? Returning it today!

“Powerful, but...”

Bought this vacuum last year and was very excited that it's small and powerful. But I should say that the carpet brush is poorly designed and I used a small furniture brush to vacuum floors! It's perfect to vacuum blinds and my car but filter clogged up so fast that I had to stop several times during the process to clean it. I live in 2 bedroom apartment, it is pretty small and I had to clean filter at least 5-6 times while vacuuming both rooms. The indicator shows that it's full and it loses its suction. “1 star”

Don't waste your time or money. Want pick up and when you try to pull it,it turns over and cuts it self off. Wouldn't even bother manufacturing it

“Does not last”

The worst part of this vacuum is the hose does not last for more than 2 to 3 months. I purchased 3 for me & family & all hoses had to be replaced already & we are in need of hoses again. They tear around the top part & there is no way to doctor it up for awhile. Save your money they are not worth it for a throw away vac.

“May as well use a Swiffer”

I just bought this yesterday and could not wait to use it today. Well, what a dissappointment. I got it because my Mom had one and liked it. But she sweeps 5 times a day so I guess it doesn't have to work to hard in her house. I have 3 dogs and a Persian cat and this is NOT the vacuum for me. The cup fills up immediately and the filter fills up way to fast. Messy to dump cup. Flips over and turns off. Brushes on head fill up with hair and not enough suction to clean it off. Suction hole is too tiny. I am packing it up as you read this and returning it. You get what you pay for. Nothing for nothing.... read full review »
