You cannot buy a better vacuum than this!
I am 60 years old and this will be my third vacuum, my youngest daughter has my old one and it still works. Good product, great value.
I used to own an apartment building, and I supplied vacuum cleaners to the tenants as an incentive for good housekeeping. I tried different makes over the years, but I found Kenmore cannister vacuums held up best with their rough use. I quickly realized that buying Kenmores for them was by far the most economical choice. I no longer have the apartments, but I brought two of them home with me. Both of them are still working well.
I purchased this vacuum a month ago. I checked reviews on-line and with **************** before I bought it. I am very happy with the suction power of the vacuum and I use ALL the attachments. Very happy with my choice and I would recommend it.
The vacuum is used in a home without kids (ie not lots of dust and dirt being tracked in) and just after the one year warranty expired the power head electrical connection failed. The power head unit was only getting intermittent power. Back to the Sear repair shop it went, for how long anyone's quess..
This type should not happen with a top of the line expensive $500 vacuum cleaner, IMHO. It is the result of poor engineering & construction.
