“Keep shopping”

Quality on these wicks seems to have fallen dramatically. In use about 10 days, and the wicks are disintegrating. they have collapsed onto themselves, and have to be replaced. Heading to ********** where for a few bucks more I know the brand they carry will at least last a few months.

“new filters are just a part of my winterizing routine”

Putting new filters in the console humidifier is part of my winterizing routine. My house gets too dry without using the humidifier. Replacement parts are easy to find.

“Kenmore Humidifier Filters/Exact same as Emerson”

The Kenmore and the Emerson Humidifier of this style are obviously made in the same factory. The Sears filters are your best and most economical filters whether you have the Kenmore or the Emerson product. Perfect performance.

SOMETIMES YOU CAN FIND THIRD PARTY GENERIC ALTERNATIVES FOR ITEMS LIKE THIS, BUT NOT IN THIS CASE. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY LIKE I DID TRYING TO FIND CHEAPER FILTERS ON AN "AUCTION" SITE. THIS FILTER SOLD HERE ABSORBS A LOT MORE WATER THAN THE GENERIC FILTERS DO. ITS WORTH PAYING FULL RETAIL FOR THIS ITEM. A + RATING ALLEN

“Filters Work Well”

These filters work well. They could be a bit cheaper in cost for what they are. I use them on my console humidifier and they are dependable year after year. Last year, I changed them in the middle of the heating season after seeing some white crud develop on the filters (which I think was either mold or calcium deposits from my hard water). I have been using bacteriostat. Since I am not the only one to experience this, I have found out that this is normal. I think this year I can get away with just removing them at the end of the heating season, though I hope this doesn't make me sick....
