Kenmore Drop-In Bobbin Sewing Machine —

Being of retirement age, the Wife and I wanted to find a hobby we could do together. "Quilting." she said. "OK." said me. So off to buy a machine. Three surprises - the bad reviews that Singer now has and the excellent reviews on this particular Kenmore model. Also, I LIKE doing this with her! We've had the machine about a month now and have made two baby quilts so far with NO problems. (16 grandkids, if you wanna call that a problem!) We just got a walking foot, 1/4 inch foot and free motion foot. Does a wonderful job!!!!!! My wife is very satisfied with this model and therefore satisfied with ME!!!! Free motion on this machine is NEAT! No stuttering, missed stitches, etc. If you haven't tried a Kenmore, you don't know what you're missing. Also, this model is advertised "good for quilting" and seems to be heavier duty than some models - if it can handle heavy denim layers, it can handle quilting. If you recommend this product to an enemy, you'll probably make a friend out of them!
